As a purely fun list, I was thinking about how many shotgun toting models I could fit into a legal Malifaux 50 stone list. I need help from veteran players as I know I'm missing some models and I am still reacquainting myself with M3E. Who would be the best master to run such a motlely crew? How much synergy could be had while maximizing the # of shotguns in the list? I'm honestly not sure how some of them could be fit together into a legal list. And I don't care how competitive the final list is as it would just be for laughs and fun. I can think of the following: Cornelius Basse Core Mad Dog Brackett Pearl Musgrove Yannick Waller I'm sure I'm missing an Ortega or two and at least one shotgun toting gremlin. Any and all help much appreciated. Thx.

Just getting back into Malifaux after a multi-year hiatus, and I'm starting w/ Parker 1, but Parker 2 looks intriguing thanks to this detailed thread. Such a great detailed analysis by all. How much better will Parker 2 be competitively if/when Wyrd fixes his Perdition LOS blocking issues?

I'm very new to M3E and a lot of rules/interactions/synergies arent obvious to me yet as I continue to learn & reacquaint myself w Malifaux. What is the goal/usefulness of Hayreddin's Blood Sacrifice trigger on his shotgun? Is it to shoot a friendly BB model and get the blast dmg + corpse marker? Some veteran NB player please explain it to me, if you would be so kind, and then how to maximize it in addition to any unique synergies it may have w other models or interactions. Thank u.

Thanks a ton. A lot of really thought-provoking insight to consider. Not a fan of Plague Hamelin lists, but pairing him w some sniper types to help protect them might be worthwhile (Hans or others). Since I also run Nekima and have Nephilim models a plenty, I may try him in a nephilim only list. What would you pair him up with as far as Nephilim? Any and all black blood models? Anything in particular a must-have to complement his strengths or shore up his wealnesses?

Really liked this guy in M2E, and I'm just now getting back into the game w 3rd edition. Saw he is now in Outcasts and can't work w Nekima. Thats sad as I like and play her. Which masters or other models does he synergize best with in Outcasts? Other factions? I'm a Viks/Misaki/Kirai fan, so I'm hoping he fits with at least one of them nicely. Any help, suggestions, or experiences would be appreciated.

Is it worth it to purchase the new core rulebook 1.5 for the fluff alone? I love the stories and background material, but I took "expanded" to mean "not very much additional material." -K

I own the original core rulebook and recently saw the 1.5 version up. Does this book contain any new fluff/character stories? This will affect my decision to purchase it or not. A quick answer from anyone who owns the Core Rulebook Version 1.5 would be great. Thx. -K
