  1. Luca Pagliai - Italy (Already paid by himself, He's not registered in the forum)
  2. If a model with the jack daw curse "firing squad injustice" declares a charge action does it suffer damage for each of the attack actions performed? Technically, the card says "when declare an attack action..." The two attacks resulting from charge are taken and not declared. The model only declare a tactical (2) action
  3. Lazarus is freaking amazing, probably too strong for its cost. Sh 6 is so much Range 12" is not bad, pretty good A minimum of 3 DMG is high, mostly considered it has blast and 6 as maximum...which is huge. It's absolutely tough => Armor 2 and built-in 0 heal without even discard a card It's decent in C/C Unfortunately it has a (0) action which you could very rarely use...but it's ok, you got a free heal. It has Autofire...which is much more strong that rapid fire. It can shoot 3 different target in one activation...and heal himself. Finally it is a freikorps...Hard to kill with the mustache is super OP
  4. McTavish can "Push into base contact with a marker, then discard it". Can it finishes the push on another side of the marker? Not on the closed edge, I mean. I would say yes - because - going straight with the shortest path you can technically still push on the other side of the marker if you have movement.
  5. I have a doubt due to the wording of the "Fates entwined" ability. It states "Whenever this model makes a healing flip, all other friendly sisters models in play may heal the flipped amount". Question: The rule states "may heal the FLIPPED amount". If I cheat the healing flip, do the other sisters heal the flipped amount or the cheated amount? Thanks
  6. Congrats. Wyrd should definitively open a section where you can see all completed factions painted for this game. I've suggested it... New players would definitively choose faster, easier and better when approaching the game.
  7. Brewmaster. Som'er is definitively the best choice if you want to play as competitive as possible...just too versatile and probably the strongest in Gremlin. But bubble them all? Too much fun
  8. the 42% to get the action done without cheating is not that bad... The real problem - I believe - is to be within range of the tormented. The 8" range is super short...and malifaux child is often in the back, far from the action and it's hard to choose the model you want to do the AP. I've never tried it, I don't think it worths
  9. You can also pretty much ignore him. Jack daw is not that good speaking of DMG output...so, just leave where it is and do you schemes. VP for the win
  10. Exactly, on the paper it looks overpriced and not efficient in doing damage: in game? The opposite. Consider that you always have to give oath keeper and he will be: Pretty tough for 8 SS => Terrifying all 12, Henchman, Built-in very good sustain with Life Drain. Annoying aura => Being tough, they can't really one-shot him but if they ignore him...they'll get 2 wounds back, not bad Extremely fast => He can charge almost everywhere into the battlefield. It has 8" + 2" plus 6" with the oathkeeper...and if you have the torment upgrade he can push 3" at the start getting also a free disengage. He does dmg => You can upgrade for 0 the DMG to 3/5/6 and you will have a "+" during charge. This means, you will easily win with 6 MI and you can cheat a "RAM" to get a plus on dmg...doing 5/6 dmg not hardly. Basically, he's a super-mobile anywhere threat with medium/high DMG output and medium/high resistance. 8 SS? Great deal with Jackdaw.
  11. I gave another try to the tormented crossroad - this time with JackDaw - and my conclusions are: Wrath is definitively a very hard beater for 8 SS. Probably a bit too strong. Lust looks amazing on the paper. However, it seems that she brings not enough on the table. The place is very short ranged and the push isn't even free in direction. Furthermore, she has no DMG output at all. I don't like her. Probably she can find a spot in game where the placement are extremely important for schemes and strategy. Greed still a very viable choice. Nice WP ranged attack, decent melee value and healing for soulstone. Furthermore, her mechanics works with soulstone that are extremely important and never (almost) discarded to prevent DMG. Next time I will definitively try the Hanged.
  12. Yes, it's a pain in the... You can't even go with the "Obliterate symbiote"...you're just dead.
  13. I've tried him once, and it was literally a useless piece :-) For the huge price, of course. I will definitively try it again but: No range attack Weak DMG track for 12 SS No defensive ability...reducing CA is too situational, most of the times dmg are SH or MI The bury effect is unreliable...severe dmg is hard to hit The "Discard to fast"...seems good but didn't pay out in game
  14. I've tried yesterday night the Crossroads crew and - to be honest- they've surprised me. They are not strong, but they are not weak as I thought either. I believe they are pretty balanced for their cost in points. Pride is definitively the worst along with Gluttony...unfortunately. However, Wrath is an excellent beater for 8 points...Envy is very annoying because you can always rely on his 2/3x focus if you want to place a 6dmg + 5dmg blast. Greed is more versatile: she has decent melee dmg output, a nice 4 dmg within 8" and it can trade soulstone for heal...not bad. Sloth is very versatile as well because with crow can just shut down enemy activation just taking a hit. Finally, crossroad sevens are a funny crew that is not so weak..you can definitively play a game with them. The most interesting part, in my opinion, is that they finally give an opportunity to jack daw that - with only his thematic garbage (Monty, Guilty, Ligeria...) was a very underpowered master. This way, you can enjoy him pretty much with these tormented options...very viable for 8 SS.
  15. I always read it wrong. I thought only jack could push 3" in any direction. Now it's pretty nice, maybe I'll try it
  16. How do you give "Envy" a free push when "Envy" activates?
  17. I'm still new to Gremlin but, coming from the Outcast, I have problems to figure out the best pieces for some schemes. In particular, I can't find out who can be the big bosses in Gremlin? Neutralize the leader A quick murder Frame for murder In the first two cases, who would you generally hire to try kick in the face enemy big pieces? And in the third case, who can be in the gremlin a good sacrificial lamb? A piece like the gunslinger, super fragile but with an extreme dmg output that can't be ignored....with like 7 SS cost, and if you lose it...it's not a big deal.
  18. Speaking of viks... 2 Oathkeeper for the babies are a must I often give survivalist to the boss Mark of shezul is very strong vs resser and arcanist Syster in fury is strong if you hire a malifaux child Speaking of Hannah...unfortunately is a bit overpriced in my opinion. The 2SS upgrade requires a symbol, so I often give her only oathkeeper or I pay better in case of focus required
  19. Thanks again for suggestions. The amount of points in hitter, cheaper models or whatever is too relative to the schemes / strats, in my opinion That's the good part of this game.
  20. Thats my second thought.. Every nation can choose 3 people to represent it. I saw in magic that 3 is a very good number: less is not a team, more tend to align the score to average. More players you have, more similar the outcome will be among teams. It could be 4 at the most. I would let people choose where they wanna play (live or born) I would avoid - as the first pattern - the match between same team players (I mean, if Germany has two people at 6 points with the same difference of VP, I wouldn't pair them unless they are the only to 6 tournament points.). If this rule can be extended to all players of the nation would be great..but probably problematic. It would be nice to dont play with other Italian while coming there! These are my ideas
  21. Get another trapper over the man, add 3rd oathkeeper (and or the loyal for now) and is pretty consistent. Probably Lazaruis is better than strongarn
  22. Thanks guys. Very nice feedback, I will definitively look into them.
  23. I'm in with this crazy idea to start Gremlins ! I was wondering how to do it, I've no clue. I've read all the stat cards and upgrade ~3 times...but I'm still very confused about how the synergies are. Main questions are: What are the pieces that can fill most of the crews? I mean the pieces that are solid and versatile for their points and do not need a specific master to work Any "must-know" rule to build a Gremlin crew? or any other advice Any good combo between couple of models, excluding master I would like to have an idea of the "jolly" possibilities because - at the first sight - it looks like the crew are very vertical...you can't really mix masters and models from other masters? I mean, they lose a lot in doing this Thanks p.s. My goal is to have fun and to be competitive when in Tournament, I don't really care about doing thematic crews
  24. You can't stay in cover with her. You need to be in LOS with someone to use her only ability to block cheating. However, if you do and even if the opponent is engaged he can easily move around the target engager radius directly toward lady Nigeria and crush her super easily
  25. Great, we are growing :-) AlessandroMeschieri, paid
