I like how Huntmaster plays up the "they've more in common than Marcus would think" vibe of Cooper's personality and story in the ES faction book.

I do appreciate how Alpha captures the feel how how diverse Marcus' gameplay could be in 2e due to his upgrades, regardless of how we ultimately decide to rank him on the tier list. "Law of Meat" is so iconic Marcus to me that I'm happy to see it used as an ability name again.

Maxine, too. Studying Cult of the Burning Man literature and using one of the Burning Man's portals to reach Malifaux had her introduced as very susceptible to future corruption.

I think the degree to which Power Tokens are baked into his constructs' design ultimately limits how much Hoffman's gameplay can change, unfortunately.

Yeah, she lost Cherufe to the creation of The Burning Man in late 2e. Sonnia’s 3e profile says she wears the mask for psychological effect…and her immense, lingering trauma from the possession.

The Burning Man is essentially 1.5 Tyrants in one body, the result of the Governor-General’s sabotaged ascension ritual near the end of 2e. By virtue of his Tyrant-ness ol’ Burny is inherently an arch nemesis of the Neverborn, and the psychological threat he poses just by looking at him is a grave danger to everybody. He’s probably outside the scope of playable Master and comprehension as a written character, though we do have playable Tyrants already in the game so it isn’t impossible.

Funny how quick the crew takes a violent swerve from how we were describing them earlier in the thread. They blatantly foreshadowed Maxine having Burning Man issues, but “the very next book” certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. -
Find myself initially quite enthused by Kaeris2 and Deacon. Gives me high hopes for what they do with Raspy and Markus.

On the $$$ note, at least Ivan's collection of summons can be obtained with just his Core and one other box. Still an investment but not nearly as steep of one as most other Summoners from the older factions. (I'm back! Not even a necrotic gallbladder could keep me down long; take note, Ressers)

I do think it's a shame there wasn't a female Hopeful Prospect sculpt. For Wyrd's cheesecake limited sculpts, I think a female Archivist could be fun. Do the sexy librarian thing but it's really creepy due to the face. Miss Spoke?

That was in a Wyrd Chronicles issue as I recall, around the end of 1e/start of 2e. In exchange, Lucius helps smooth over suspicion and cover up McMourning's Resser activities so that he could continue operating for the Guild.

I don't think so. They seemed like they were related to The Nameless, rather than December.

The render definitely makes his pose look more natural; from the art I thought he was on one foot and putting all his weight on his fingernails. It looks like it is tensing up to lunge, rather than squatting awkwardly.
