I've been running 2 each of austringer, stalker and death marshalls. It's generally competitive I've found.

I've been running 2 marshals with 2 each stalkers and austringer. They've all been good to me. Had Langston in a box for better part of a game, as I dwindled the rest of Ramos crew. so no, you will probably never need the third Marshall.

Ronin have a use with her, if you go a certain build, utilizing disguise. A librarian is good with her, but then the librarian would be good with anyone. I don't think any thing changes,with misaki in TT or Outcasts in that she operates solo.

That looks awesome I'll give it that. But that whole model one one leg. That's silly. I wish Wyrd were more selective about models that they do this with.

As much as I'd love for there to be a lore wiki for Malifaux, I don't think there is enough lore to justify it. The game hasn't been around long enough to have warrant it. Maybe when Malifaux gets to 5th ed, there will be. Wiki for Star Wars, 40k etc are there because there is tons of lore spanning years of existence. That's not to say it isn't all in the minds of the owners of the game.

interesting crew selection in that there was no rats of any sort. My first experience against him was terrible and boring as all heck. May require a second look at him after reading this.

Death Marshalls are decent scheme runners with their impeded, I've found, better with austringers around.

I can see myself getting most of the TT faction at some point. Brewie looks interesting to me, some crazy mechanics to him. But as I read upon him, I don't see what from the TT crew would go with him, that is out for sale at this point. He just doesn't seem to be very TT-esque. And while I was thinking about it, is he even a gremlin? Did the TT just grab him, brainwash him and let him loose a long time ago? Cheers

Why no love for Misaki? Granted she doesn't seem very "outcast-ish". Were I to make the call, I'd stay outcasts and skip the gremlins, going by personal taste.

Well, i bought the general upgrade set because I wanted the TT stuff, and it was about the same cost as getting two arsenal decks for the upgrades. Its also handy if you plan on getting into other factions as arsenal decks are apparently going the way of the dodo bird. And you can sell off other factions if you don't branch out, but I doubt that won't happen

I find the Captain the lynchpin of this crew. Take care of him and his air burst and Toni is less dangerous. I definitely wouldn't take a melee crew against her if possible. And if she making you swing when you don't want to, cheat so you miss and you won't get hit back.

Looks good. I wasn't expecting old VS.

1. Have every model available to purchase, without resorting to ebay etc. So many good useful models that aren't available from wyrd. 2. To play more games of this wonderful system. 3. More $$ for this game

No mention of McCabe? Find that odd as everyone says he's the bee's knees. Or is he just better in TT?

Welcome to the guild. Your model looks ace, good job. If you have as much as you say you have, then you should be picking up the rules pretty quick. Ortega's and Sonnia will get you up to speed on the mechanics even faster as mentioned above.

I must disagree. I started Outcasts with Misaki and the Viks. Bought VS for his crew not so much him. Having sat through a match against Hamelin, I can't see myself forcing him on anyone ever. It was so long and boring to sit through. My first impressions, at the time, were that he was OP. I think less like this now, but I don't see myself getting him. Tara keeps calling my name when I'm in the flgs, though, but she puts me off being a little to tricky and card intensive. There looks to be lots of individual models in the Outcasts that are pretty solid. Another thing about Outcasts that I haven't seen mentioned yet, (may have missed it) is that almost all of them are mercenaries, so can be used in other factions, paying the tax of course.

I am thinking that "The Other Side" will be the epic massive battles that don't take place in Malifaux currently. I would prefer that missing models be released before a new book comes out. I don't think new masters are needed at this point, and there could probably be a little tweaking of some models, looking at you voodoo doll , So yea.

agree with you on pretty much all of it. Though I am starting to get annoyed with the tiny contact points for attaching models to bases Wyrd is want to do, cool as it looks

Ronin team up wih disguise misaki to mess with melee models. I'm thinking a trapper works well with katanaka snipers and shen long. But TT have some boss minions. But at this point you could just play her as outcast and not spend extra stones form the ronin.

Order got delivered while at work today. Missed it so its being sent to the closest POst office. Didn't come fed ex up here in canada, like last time. Can't wait for tomorrow or sunday. Not too bad for what I'm guessing was a crazy order period for wyrd.

Hey all, I'm not totally familiar with this faction despite my growin collection of 10 hinder models. What I don't know of yet is what do they have for heals. Outcasts have librarian, guild the proxy, others have something I'm sure. What dothe Thunder have? Cheers in advance.

If i had to start over again, I would begin with ten thunders. I love the Asian look of most of the range. lynch not so much as he just doesn't have the look that appeals to me. I imagine I'd get the same models I currently have as I don't see my tastes changing at all.
