  2. All the time i'm finding it harder and harder to resist the plastcraft stuff, especially seeing the mix of the malifaux and carnevale range. my poor wallet.
  3. I stopped reading after the mention of Brewmaster in the foreword. He's a myth. EDIT: so I lied and continued reading and saw the last page
  4. it makes me glad that i'm starting with ressers, oh and that I bought the leveticus set on ebay by accident (Clicked to bid on it without looking what it was!)
  5. I used an online currency converter to convert the pounds to euros.
  6. one thing that makes good swamp trees that block a bit more LOS is GW's trees with old man's beard lichen attached to them to give them a swampy feeling. I've got the trees and lichen to do this, but it's still in the to do queue. Something like this.... EDIT: please do track down the article you used to build this, I'm sure it could be very helpful.
  7. It looks great! Just a pity as you have already said that GW have stopped producing some of their nicest scenery kits.
  8. Ok Month 0 post up! and models on their way to me to be painted. Psientologist any chance you could updated the first post in this thread with a list of all the blogs taking part, it'd make it easier to keep an eye on them all!
  9. Will write my first ToMB2 Post later when Ii get the chance, but in the meantime heres my blog www.365days365minis.blogspot.com and remember terrible painters like me are what makes the rest of you look so good
  10. Many years ago I used the nickname Devilchild, however once I got my first car (Citroen Saxo 1.1 Furio) I switched to this on car forums, and then kinda decided that calling my self Devilchild when I was an adult might be a bit childish, I started using Furio everywhere.
  11. Hi Lance, I'm also an expat but live in Catalonia. I'd recommend the Spanish speaking malifaux forum Doll's House (http://malifaux.forosactivos.net/) to try and find out what the local scene is like, I do warn you in advance that the biggest communities here are in Alicante, Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona (and from the way we're growing Girona should at some time be able to move into that list)
  12. mmmm in my opinion despite having some bits that look great(I really like the harpoon gun arm), there are other bits that make me feel like continuing with my metal model.
  13. Count me in! I'm a terrible painter, but my hobby new years resolution was to paint 365 miniatures during 2015. So this will fit right in! My blog isn't 100% Malifaux dedicated (some warhammer fantasy has crept into it, and no doubt some flames of war will do over the year.)
  14. Your board looks great, well done! Only minor thing I would add is some more railway track as I feel the bit you have is a bit lonely. P.S as a Guild player I wish your wife the best of luck(As long as she's playing McCabe as Guild!)
  15. My gaming club CAWA Girona added.
  16. Both ideas would be usefull on a table, which one to do depends on what other scenery you already have.
  17. for the last seven spaces in your big bag it has to be Perdita and her family! 7 models.. Perdita Francisco Santiago Nino Abuella Papa Latigo pistelero. If you already have any of these models in your bag(most likely being Fran) add another pistelero. Suggestions for another bag.. what about feldherr. I don't own any myself but plenty of people in my gaming group own them for one gaming system or the other.
  18. ohhh very nice! only slight problem I can see is movement on the staircases, unless you've come up with a system for a mini to stand half way up.
  19. Agreed, I would love to know of when the Lady J box will be re-released!
  20. I received mine yesterday.. normal mail and no customs fees EDIT: should miss step include a stat card?
  21. Really enjoyed this, but for some reason I feel a bit let down by the last sentence - it doesn't seem to fit.
  22. Thanks for the advice everyone, I've presented the idea to my gaming group and if there's interest we'll give it a go in a couple of months time. (giving me time to pick up everything i'll need)
  23. EDIT: Should have checked my email before the forum.. I've got a tracking number
  24. I'm also still waiting had a couple of responses to a request I made then nothing for 8 days.
