  1. Queeg Sanctioned spellcaster Francisco with wade in Death marshall Ryle Orderly First turn im el mayoring the ss then boxing frank and pushing all hench actions though the ss. The orderly runs schemes our tries to be in position to heal people. If the ss builds up enough charge you send him in to engage or explode. If not you continue to funnel ap through him to do your schemes or hit his main models while keeping most of yours safely behind cover or out of range.

I like changelings with fk trappers too. Add a judge or a beckoner to trigger the psuedo pounce and they put out a ton of plus flip firepower.
  3. Honestly, it sounds like youve got it about right. Are you doing gaining ground schemes or core book schemes? Because while I've found executioner to be no good in the old schemes, I think both him and lone marshall are improved in the new scheme set.
  4. The emissary is nice against summoners I've found. The never bluff a six gun trigger helps to clear out a bunch of already injured models. He also can be good to get models downfield fast, which helps put pressure on summoners.
  5. I can see maybe trying it if I were using sam as well, so I had a second synergy to take advantage of.
  6. Please report to your nearest guild reeducation center for forceful reprogramming.
  7. I did one the other day that was stupid expensive and lost badly because of it. Death marshall, dita, daschell, papa, and killjoy, though probably didnt need the enslaved to make this work. Daschrll gave reactivate to the death marshall. Dita obeyed papa forward, then the death marshall up, and then had him box papa. Daschel gave the dm reactivate. The dm can then walk another 20 inches onto the board, dropping papa out upon his death. Papa then gets to blow up twice draining hand and doing tons of damage. Killjoy pops out where papa died. It was a disaster of a game. But for 1 glorious turn it was a blast. I want to try it with a better beater than papa (probably peacekeeper) so both killjoy and him n pop out at the same time.
  8. So what do you think of the new schemes? What models do you think got a boost for guild? I know I don't like show of force, nor the changes to exhaust their forces (cursed object). I don't see myself trying occupy their turf with any guild crew except maybe a dog spam. I like public demonstration, and neutralize their leader is interesting with death marshalls. I know ive been getting a lot more use out of the executioner with the new schemes. So many cause markers to be dropped midgame, which makes them more useful. The guild sarge with his ability to move scheme markers might be more useful too.
  9. Warden and hunters are both nice, as are death marshalls lawyers and witchling stalkers. The new mounted guard and sanctioned spellcaster both are interesting with lucius, as is the changeling. A changeling or 2 with a fk trapper is a nice firing platform.
  10. I feel like I haven't seen much discussion of any Wave three models besides the Brutal Emissary. The Emissary is interesting enough to lead to a lot of conversation, but I really haven't seen anyone expecting interest in the Sanctioned Spellcaster, the Mounted Guard, or even the starter box models. I've messed with the Sanctioned Spellcaster with a number of different masters, including in henchmen led games during our campaign. I found it good, but the fact is more and more crews are bringing pushes and other abilities that will let them avoid him even if I get him pumped up. During that campaign I used Master Queeg. Having a guild standard gun plus an interesting number of triggers on his whip made him worth using, but I haven't had any interest since then. I've used some changelings with lucius in guild (which was awesome with a FK trapper and a beckoner or performer). I didn't have as much luck using them with an austringer. Haven't tried the starter pack guys, or Greed. So what are you using from the Wave 3 models?
  11. So if perdita obeys a model to kill the Governor's Proxy, who takes the wp duel to avoid death?
  12. I might still try it, dropping the judge and guardian for something more damagey.
  13. I don't have the cards in front of me, but I'm pretty sure Surprise! is once per turn. You are right. Damn, I should have known it was to good to be true. I had it in my head that it was like pounce.
  14. The trap is really the only part that had to stay in one place. The rest can move, with the trapper moving and the rest using blink to follow. Lucius can that's what lackeys are for people around if need be too. Since so many of the shots are out if activation they have options.
  15. Here's what it looks like. Don't mind the bad paint job http://imgur.com/bNTai3f
  16. here is what I did with him. Don't mind the bad paint job. http://imgur.com/bNTai3f
  17. I know a list is only as good as it fits the schemes and strats, but I am still theoryfauxing this one out. Would love your comments. Lucius with surprisingly loyal 3 changelings 1 FK trapper 1 guardian 1 beckoner The judge 1 watcher Watcher is just there as a scheme runner. The changelings will bunch up around the trapper and the trap. The beckoner will set up nearby, attempting to lure an opponents models (with help from Lucius) into the range of the 14" range, triggering their surprise attacks, at a plus flip and doing min damage 2. Guardian is there as a bodyguard, to engage models that get too close, and then shield bash then for more changeling shots. Judge can pull them towards him too, triggering more surprise shots, as well as contributing his own shooting as needed or tanking. Clockwork trap will let the chanfelings make additional attacks against anyone that moves into range. I feel like it is probably too gimmicky, but I do want to give it a go. Anyone tried anything like this?
  18. Some theory faux related to the models in shifting loyalties: The Emissary's never bluff a six gun seems like a really good tool against gremlins. I haven't seen anyone mention Lucius on here, I feel like if they want to gun line with lots of models, the secretary may be the best counter to that, especially with riflemen firing 14 inches. Gremlins will struggle to hit many mimics manipulative values, though activation control becomes an issue. Lucius can drop a scheme marker at range wIth secret assets, and then use the emissary to drop candy into the midst of a bunch of bayou gremlins, tying them all up quite effectively (I've never considered using lead lined coat, but might be worth it here). Dropping papa in their midst can blow up a large number of them in one go, even the governors proxy dropped in an inopportune place will at least force a very risky wp duel. Changelings can help you send in a bbunch of these in the same turn if you wanted, though I'm not sure you want that.
  19. I always look forward to the "Lucius is awful" threads for my time to shine. Speaking of, I've let him ready for too long.
  20. The new emissary is my favorite model against Ramos. He makes a great link for hoffman to be pulled around by, his never bluff a six gun trigger really helps to thin the tide of spiders, and is a good place to put patchwork plating to become armor 2. Try to get the alpha strike on joss with a preplanned scheme marker to send him far away with your box, he is to slow to get back. The problem lies in the fact that there is no model yet. You will have to make a proxy or find any of the avatar models in metal, which count as the emissary.
  21. That's exactly the Death Marshall I'm using! The only thing I wanted to add was a bigger, more pronounced gun. Like the revolver from the forthcoming Guard Sgt. And being ht3 I want to put him up on something, so it's more intuitive for my opponents (not that Ryle isn't a worse offender already on that count!) Can you link to the cows head you used? I might just end up sculpting my own. I'm not positive, but I think it was this one.- http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Boneyard bull/sku-down/P03153E
  22. I've been liking using the emissary (and a watcher) with hoffman to get papa Loco in my opponents midst turn one. Sometimes I'll include killjoy too to pop up when papa dies. I like the emissary as a bodyguard for hoff. He can fight at range and into combat or cover, has a nice long walk, and can really chew through summoned models with his trigger. He makes a good loop target and armor 2 with patchwork plates makes him survivable.
  23. I bought a reaper cows head skeleton, and mounted it on the big crouching death marshall on a 50. A cage would be a nice touch, but the model is scaled so differently than the other 2 dms that it ended up looking pretty good.
