  1. My thoughts are Zipp, Earl, Two or Three Roosters to just get up in the waifs' faces as well as the trappers, Rami to out range and counter snipe, some stuffed piglets for activation control. Fill out however you feel. I would ignore A&D. Just let that huge walking point sink do its own thing and do your stats and schemes. Take maybe like Francis or Burt or someone to try and take out Rusty so that way your roosters can charge in. Just kill his smaller and support models and then out activate and out VP him .
  2. I'm a Gremlin player but here is my Wisp proxies. They are super powerful and make Zoraida super good.
  3. I think the best two masters that can use the same crew (pretty much) every game and change play style every game/every turn would be Som'er Teeth Jones and Marcus. Some of the other masters could do it as well but many of them like Molly or Dreamer rely more on what they are summoning but can also change it up a bit.
  4. I'm thinking a Fingers and Zipp crew for the Trickster's scenario. All that interact denial will be pretty boss.
  5. I think Gremlins got some of the worst 'fix' or general upgrades in the new book. Why did we need Hog Whispering? No clue. But on the other hand we already had the best upgrades in the game (dirty cheater, on your tip toes, stilts) so it really balances out I think.
  6. Someone told me during a game that they had an upgrade that allows Iriko to be summoned within 2" of the target but I can't find it now. Did I get swindled?
  7. They should add a faction based off of garden gnomes. I would play that.
  8. Gremlins best faction. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! EVERYTHING IS COOL WHEN YOU'RE PARTY OF A TEAM! But for reals. Gremlins are the best part of this game. Screw being dark and ominous. Malifaux is about blowing stuff up and raising pigs in the Bayou!
  9. I feel like you may have some really good points but both this post and the last post were a wall of text and made my brain shut off.
  10. Anyone have any luck with Gremlin Taxidermists? I think they are a cool model but not sure about the use of card and point resources. I was wondering if anyone had any good stories of using them in a match?
  11. I like the name change idea but that the new name should be long and hilarious.
  12. I really like your battle report. Your format is one of the better ones floating around making it easy to understand what happened and your thoughts behind your moves! Specifically in this battle, I would have liked to see Trixie do a bit more displacement of the other team. Once she finished pulling gremlins up field an idea could be to target Hungering Darkness, Jacob Lynch, or something with a higher charge than its walk with gremlin lure. If you have a decent crow or soulstone for it then you can push them back and slow them pretty much neutralizing the threat. This works great on enemies like the Hungering Darkness because he can be summoned back but if he is stuck he is useless. Anywho, thanks for the report. Look forward to reading more!
  13. Gremlins are the most OP faction out there. Hands down.
  14. thanks 4 the grammar lesson
  15. I would argue that both examples the model would not receive cover. Firstly, because that's what makes sense. Secondly, that's what the rules say. 'any cover when any LoS line between the attacking model and the target model can be drawn through any terrain with the soft or hard cover traits that is within 1" of the target model.' Now I see where people could get hung up thinking that "that" refers to the piece of terrain and think that the model receives cover. But if we see "that" referring to the LoS line at the point where it intersects with the terrain then the model would not receive cover. Therefore, when two readings of the same rule are equally valid, I think we should go with the logical one.
  16. More power to you for using cool models and proxies. I feel that this would be better posted on a blog or on Facebook rather than Wyrd official forums though. Just food for thought.
  17. Does Expunge count as poison damage? Specifically for the purposes of raiding canine remains?
  18. I have been seeing around the forums that you can make a soulstone damage prevention flip on poison damage. Where in the book does it say this? The poison blurb says that it cannot be reduced or negated. And the wording of damage prevention says, "player flips a card, which cannot be cheated, and reduces the damage according to the following table:" This came up in a recent game but unless there is an update drifting out there I could not make a compelling argument to my opponent that damage prevention is not reducing the damage because the word reduce is right there in the definition. Thanks for the help.
