I never remember correctly, but can shielded lower damage to 0? And in any way, the 'reduce damage' seems to happen after 'pay cost'. -

RAI should be (discard) or (drop marker and be killed). At least m2e doc worked more or less that way.

I often use a line in the sand and it works. I use a ronin on each side (or two on one side and something scarier like bishop on the other) and start leaving markers while getting to the center. Bodyguard can be good too, even if risky (even lazarus can die).

Same thing happened to me (well, my opponent) with collodi and his 'puppetty' actions. We actually decided that the credit goes to the model dealing damage...but sewn fate is a different situation.

I don't think someone like Lucius would risk being identified from his clothes...unless, of course, he pays good eyes to coppelius to wear his clothes...you know, just to muddy the waters.

Pandora and her Df stat

What happens when an attacking model can force to resist with Df or Wp? Can Pandora ignore it? (thinking about bishop here) -
It's very killy, especially if you have luck/can cheat with the decapitation, but I managed to bring him down with a couple of ronins with relative ease (actually, he killed the gunslinger and a ronin, so I guess it was a tie). And I'm not sure, but wp based duels might be trouble for him.

Well, one thing doesn't prevent the other. The student could just be a regular orphan, but how long till the bloodthirst of the masamune (and maybe her wish to grow up like her 'sisters') turns the kid into something else? I guess the more straightly 'esoterical' totems (shang, wendigo, lost love, hungering hippo) are reserved for the masters that know something more of Fate and how it works in Malifaux, while the more 'mundane' ones are for people who don't quite understand...yet.

Where is the Breach located, Earthside?

The gnomes are telling me: nobody knows where the breach is. Should be on the site of a big city (that was blown away by the breach itself). Could be everywhere, even rome *wink* -
I don't know...looks good, but once I've finished casting all the buffs, my opponent had all the time to prepare his crew by hiding/preemptive strike/defense buff.

I've read Tara. Twice. Then shuffled around the outcasts. Twice. I still don't know who can go with her aside her box. I can't seem to see hidden sinergies aside bury bishop-->fast bishop-->deliver bishop (change the name with the beatstick/objective grabber of your choice). I guess I'l have to try something, but I'm not sure I really want to.
