  1. Hey, if I can't spend the money on them, someone should. Always been impressed with your stuff.
  2. You could also always roll on over to http://www.twilightemporium.net/online-store/
  3. We house-ruled that it is severe terrain for models taller than the ht, so half movement.
  4. Now if your weapon range is longer than where the model is, I would never get mad at you for getting a little cheeky on the measuring.
  5. Going out on a limb, with no evidence, I believe you would activate with slow, but, to be honest, I am not sure I fully understand the situation you are putting out. If I remember correctly, to maybe clear it up, the new Slow replaces the old Slow.
  6. The "aura" for maintain machines is always on, so Ryle can ignore whenever he wants, it wouldn't be Lucius doing the ignoring.
  7. Sonnia is also pretty stand alone. Her crew can vary hugely between encounters. That lends her an incredible amount of utility. She's one of my favorite masters to play and one of my favorite avatars in the game.
  8. I use and enjoy MAS bases. Decent quality for the price, good selection of looks, and I don't have to custom make anything. The only drawback I have had in the past is the positioning of a model as mentioned above, but with only minor interference to the model.
  9. Hahaha. Fair. Bouncing spells off minions is powerful, Raspy just might not be the best at delivering said bouncing abilities. Situational power.
  10. CrazyCarl is right. As an occasional Perdita player, blocking terrain really affects that game. You can only put Nino and Perdita in a few places, Santiago is harder to get into a position where you are comfortable to let him take wounds, and Francisco is basically (even more) useless. Playing with the recommended terrain amount is a huge game changer, even for non-ranged crews, and is part of what makes Raspy and Lilith (well, Nephilim) decently powerful.
  11. It says on the card, though I can't find it in the V2 cards. It will undoubtedly be updated into Book 1.5.
  12. They both have a fairly large set of constructs to choose from, even sharing many many choices, so I wouldn't be too concerned over the selection of minions (more depends on which faction's constructs you want to pay an extra stone for.) In terms of direct synergy, Hoffman benefits from his constructs more so than Ramos. From a different viewpoint though, Ramos can summon constructs, Hoffman is stuck with who he brings. Coming from Pandora, Hoffman will be closer to her playstyle, Ramos will be different. Why not go for both?
  13. I totally played the placement rules wrong for like a year. I was so disappointed in myself.
  14. Best thing we came up with is an equilateral triangle board with each deployment zone in a corner. We had to tweak some of the strats and schemes to fit the needs of a three player game (The Viks specific one needed some reworking.) but other than that making sure there was no ganging up is the only forseeable problem. It doesn't happen frequently anymore now that we have played a few 3 or 4 player games since you eventually realize that noone benefits from ganging up. Utilizing a 2 on 1 brawl format has also been fun in the past. The only problem we have had is using the card mechanic. We have usually used a shared ss pool and separate decks for each player with the 2-player team drawing half hands and sharing the hand only. This works out better for a 2-on-2 scenario.
  15. Spoken like a true gamer dad! Ha! The Exorcist has aided me in granting Perdita magical weapons against Kirai's crew though, since she has Gunfighter and Kirai's spirits like being in your face. Outside of that he adds a great magical element, a bit of board control, and a crossbow... because crossbows are awesome.
  16. That's a slick rattler. Really like the almost cell shaded feel about him.
  17. As far as I see, there is nothing stating the target needs to be friendly, unless this has been eratta'd or clarified elsewhere.
  18. A concept I have been trying to work on for several months now...
  19. When I read "Plastic" I instantly thought, "Mindless zombies for days!" I hope this is the first (and in my opinion, only) unit they release.
  20. Couldn't hurt, though a little Elmer's Wood glue would probably accomplish the same goals, maybe even better, with a little bit of extra work.
  21. At the very least, I have to appreciate having a good block of text to read, Sandwich. I also like having a well-thought-out critique of what's going on. Thanks for contributing to a (quite long, drawn out, and seemingly neverending) conversation.
  22. As much as I wish Bullets and Blades/Blades and Bullets was magical, I would have to say it is likely not magical damage and that it does work like Flaming Bullets.
