  1. That's the rub. I stupidly already removed the sprues.
  2. Just finished assembling the Guild hounds and realized something: what's the easiest way to attach the compact hound to the base? ( For fellow greyhound owners, it's the one in the second suspension) The paws look too small to pin. I was thinking just making a mound of green stuff to press the feet into and then glue into that, disguising it as terrain.
  3. So are you doing two 1.5 and a 2.5 tray then? Seems like the bag wouldn't close very well.
  4. Just received my official Malifaux BattleFoam bag. Great so far, though I had a quick question: Should toppers be used with it? I noticed none were included, and the included foam is packed pretty much to the gills so I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with that.
  5. Since no one else will, I'll be "that guy." Your poll if flawed. The questions and answers don't match. You're asking what sex an individual is, but your answers are listing various genders. It would either have to be "What is your sex: male/female" or "What is your gender: boy/lady." Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but with a degree in Sociology and a specialization in gender studies, I always end up as "that guy."
  6. Mine's simple. I mix equal parts P3 Khador highlight and Bloodstone, and dab some on foam (usually a piece of pluck foam I pulled out). Then I dab the paint via foam onto the metal, and then dab a few times with unpainted foam to give it some texture. Dry brush edges with the original metallic (usually just points/edges that would have constant contact). Wash with armor wash.
  7. So I've decided my next Malifaux purchase/master/faction is going to be Lady Justice's starter box. Since it only tops out at 23SS, what are some good models to fill out the points that work well with LJ? One obviously being her totem, but other than that I have no Guild experience (playing as or against).
  8. Is it official that 1in = 1ht? The game MERCS has something similar with "elevation levels" but those are a range. 1 EL is anything from 1-4 ft, giving most minis EL 2 and a second floor would be EL 3. If the same distance is used, that would mean a 4ht unit is 16 ft tall...
  9. So how is this going to work, suit-wise? Currently all the major factions are related to a suit (Guild is Rams, Arcanists is Tomes, etc). Outcasts is none/a mix of the four. So what's that leave this 6th faction? All of the above? None? Or the start of a second faction for every suit?
  10. Using P3 colors, I mix Midlund Flesh, Wyrm Green and Frostbit in about equal amounts. No pics at the moment though
  11. I use P3 paints. Only real exception is Devlan Mud (magic in a bottle) or I'll pick up an equivalent Vallejo color if my FLGS is out of the P3 one.
  12. So my understanding is, with the original three masters per faction, there was some form of rock-paper-scissors strategy. The guild had Perdita for Neverborn, Lady J for Res, and Criid for Arcanists. What about everyone else? Do the Arcanists have a strong anti-Neverborn, or do the Resurrectionists have an anti-Guild master?
  13. Two quick questions about the cards: 1) What's the difference between Rare 1 and Unique? For example, Ice Golem is Rare 1 but Snowstorm is Unique, but they both end up with the same result. 2) What's the deal behind the colored attributes on the cards? It doesn't appear to be the highest attribute (LCB has both a 6 and a 5 colored, though they're both Ca) while others don't appear to have a colored attribute at all (ie Stitched Together). Does it have any meaning behind it?
  14. So I know you only have to declare the faction before selecting schemes, but are there any rules against both players selecting the same faction?
