Fav. alll time movie

Probably Jim Henson's Labyrinth - the reason (before LotR) I want to be a filmmaker.

Though The Fall, A Bittersweet Life, Oldboy, House of Flying Daggers, Amelie, Citizen Kane, Cowboy Bebop the Movie and just about every Studio Ghibli film, are also close to the top. Though LotR inspired me more than almost any film, I don't actually enjoy them that much anymore (too cheesy), rather it is the stunning behind-the-scene features on the extended editions that reveal the true magic of those films.

The Artist has recently earned it's place in my top film list, saw it in the oldest working cinema in Britain and it was fantastic.

Spammers (the Directors Cut)

Another interesting thread started by a bot, lol.

At least you noticed before posting this time, lol. But, moving on...

I've got a list myself, with no real clear 'favorite', but a selection from it:

Empire Strikes Back

The Dark Knight

Saving Private Ryan

Howl's Moving Castle

I'm like most people and just don't have 1 particular favorite movie...I break it down into categories:

Favorite Sci-Fi Movie ~ Star Wars, A New Hope (1977)

Favorite War Movie ~ Full Metal Jacket

Favorite Zombie Movie ~ Dead Snow

Favorite Action Movie ~ Fast & Furious Series

Favorite Comedy ~ Spies Like Us & Stripes (sorry, it's a tie)

Favorite Historical (Epic Period) Movie ~ Kingdom of Heaven

Again...the list can go on and on for me and in each categories!

Favourite Sci-Fi Movie ~ ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy- pre-enhancements

Favourite Fantasy Movie ~ Lord of the rings trilogy

Favourite Zombie Movie ~ Shaun of the Dead

Favourite Action Movie ~ Usual Suspects (not sure if action)

Favourite Comedy ~ Spy who knew too little (laugh with the guy, not at him)

Favourite Drama ~ Good Will Hunting & Big Kahouna (Character Development)

I like a movie that either has good character development, or a full featured world to immerse yourself in. Comedies were you laugh at the stupidity of the guy (dumb & Dumber), or action movies which make no sense drive me nuts (Die hard 4, Bruce Willis fighting a jet). I know I say I like star wars & LOTR, but in the context for the world its good, and it makes sense.

Ugh... way too many....

Schindlers List

Forest Gump

American History X

Stranger Than Fiction

Running with Scissors

Shawshank Redemption

The Green Mile

Fight Club

Equilibrium

The Matrix

Really, I like anything that makes me have a strong emotional connection to it. I'm not sure that these are my Favorites but they are some that I would recomend to most people.
