  1. So Collette will likely take a hit somewhere down the line?
  2. You don't get a strike, but you are considered engaged in melee.
  3. I'm excited. I'd have tried out for the position if they weren't a million miles away.
  4. I live for drama, not for winning. I'll take whatever appeals to my personal sense of style. I don't care about winning, and I don't do tournaments. I'm here for whatever stimulates my imagination.
  5. But Love is like Oxygen. Which means Love is Broken. I knew it! :radioactive:
  6. This is probably the closest to the official way to do things. I really like this idea though. Maybe it cojuld make it either as a house rule or in later editions.
  7. I come from an RPG background first and foremost. For me "game balance" is about as mythical as Bigfoot.
  8. I'm fine as it is. as it stands Hard to Wound 2 causes folk to spam attacks hoping for a lucky break, and I find that incredibly thematic.
  9. Well, to be picky about it, a Wound prevention flip technically happens before Wds are inflicted. There is this whole thing on the forum about how if your prevention flip brings wounds to 0 then you suffer no wounds instead of 0 wounds, and any effects that rely on after damaging fail. That's a whole other bunch of stuff though The rules manual sez Meanwhile the Guardian's Protect spell states So I think the timing is Prevention Flip, and then the effects from Protect resolve. tl;dr Stone then Gaurdian.
  10. Yeah. +1 Dg indicates it's being added to any damage being done. If it worked the way your friend thought it did, it would say, Model take 1 Wd.
  11. In those cases we are talking about affecting a model. The Gaki are not subjects of the effect, they are prerequisites for using the power. +1
  12. Gaki sez This is unambiguous. There is no guesswork or interpretation here.
