Patrick
Mmmmm! Tasty mermaid goodness! I dig the Samurai chick too. The sorceress looks great but I'm not too hip on the horns.
vincegamer
Nice monster Mermaid is nice except the 6 sets of lateral fins. Sorceress uninteresting Like the samurai chick idea but I'd never buy her - no place for her. Finally, what's with the guy wearing the Howard the Duck mask? Ritual
Sorceress uninteresting I think that is the one Julie Guthrie has made...
green stuff
Finally, what's with the guy wearing the Howard the Duck mask? Looks like a venisian carnaval mask (think white porcelain type). I like the dynamism in the cape and reminds me of this (I'm saying this in a good way, you can feel the work that has gone into it to rework the design, it's not a cheap rip off) : The mermaid is nice and looks like what was in the 4th Harry Potter movie with all those fins. Celtic Lilly
Only one I like the the Samuria lady but she is a bit thick across the torso. Although I suppose she might have to be to fight the good fight. She'll get some pretty paint jobs I'm sure. The rest of them - meh.
EricJ
none are BAD, but also not anything that inspires me to paint them, basically all pretty mediocre for me
cdukino
Must have mermaid... that's for sure. The others are oke to nice I guess but don't call out to me buy me. The mermaid does.
tidoco2222
Some nice stuff there, I think my favourite out of the bunch is the female Samurai I wouldn't mind a crack at that one and also the Julie Guthrie sculpt but then I am a sucker for big monsters. Ritual
Nathan has done something weird with the disposition of his post... As I pointed out above, Julie Guthrie has made the female wizard. The big guy is sculpted by Ben Siens. I think none of these suck, but I'm not particularly tempted to buy any either.
Nathan Caroland
Just did a cut and paste so that's likely why it is all arsed up. Not that I can be bothered to go and fix it.
Duende
Go fix it, Nathan! It's confusing me and addling my poor little mind... I like the mermaid, she has a nice "flowing" look and the Werner trademark face. I think the extra fins give her a unique look different from the typical mermaid. The samurai chick is OK, something just looks wrong in the hips area... like her navel is too close to her crotch, there should be more abdomen there. Selthak is good, I have a Rackham Shanys... hmmm, diorama possibilities coming to mind... I'm not keen on the cookie-cutter sorceress, she looks like 50 other sorceress/witch/wizardess/enchantress minis Reaper has out. And I've never liked big ugly brutes, so that last one's out for me. Well, at least this batch is better than that last one! :blah:
Vicky
I definitely like the mermaid! I also like the dynamic pose of the poisoner!
Spacemunkie
Reaper. The word is synonymous with dull. They must spend a packet on commissioning sculpts too.
Skya
Purty mermaid. Must paint. Samurai chick annoys me because I really like the sculpting, but I can't stand the fact that she's armored everywhere except her belly.
axegrrl
The short version... some of the details annoy me on this batch. Mermaids shouldn't have obvious "knees" or "ankles". I keep seeing Selthak as an anthropomorphic duck. The so-called "samurai" put her arm and leg armor on upside down (put the plates overlapping that way, and they'll direct the blade right to the skin). And the "aim here, please" bare midriff just annoys me.
