Master Asbestos is right, these are dull! And a good paintjob would just make them well-painted, dull miniatures, nowt more. As for the 'don't bash the sculptors until you've had a go' thing, well that's just rubbish. These are commercial sculpts. What is the point of releasing stuff if a vast majority of people don't like it or are indifferent to it? How will the sculptors/companies improve without getting decent crit? I can't build cars, but it certainly doesn't stop me test driving them and complaining if they look shit. If everything that was sold on this planet received a hearty reception with slaps on the back all round, we'd live in even more of a quagmire of mediocrity than we already do. And mediocrity is a fate worse than death:D

Yep. Skeleton thingy was a real pain, but then again so was the whole thing! He's a really awkward little git. Cool sculpt though.

I'd get a much darker shade of that blue into the creases on the purple. NMM the faceplate and get some of both the purple and blue into the banner on his spear. Nice NMM. This one is a real bugger to paint - I finished mine a couple of weeks ago after having him sat around prepped for two years. Loads of fiddly little bits that never seem to end! I won't be doing another one :peace:

Another killer paintjob by Fluffy though.

Most of their human sculpts are pretty cack really. It's the robots/mechs and the fully suited troopers that stand out for me.

Master Reimer could make anything look awesome. That's spot on.

More hum-drum boringness. The skeleton pirates are ok, but metal skellies rarely work at this scale as the bones end up having to be too big and lumpy - especially the arms and legs. The first and third minis are just horrible.

Bloody ace. Almost enough to make me get a force of Cygnaran poofters.... But not quite. I'll leave the gun-toting fairies to James Communist scum for me

I don't need to. The subject matter is a load of cobblers. I don't care how many people like them, this sort of garbage (the imagery, not the sculpts) has been done to death. Kudos to the sculptor, but the concepts are a bunch of chuff.
