  1. Very nice! Congrats! I really like your detail and freehand work! The source lighting, the phoenix and the wanted poster in particular! Nice touch! Great base work, too! Again, congratulations!
  2. Hey, everyone! This is a plastic figure from the World of Warcraft board game. I thought I'd give painting one of them a try. I had a lot of fun working on him. Might try the night elf female next time! Vote here! Bid Here!
  3. Nice mini! I especially like how the washes on the wolf fur cloak came out and the freehand on the base rim is a great touch!
  4. Thanks! Glad ya'll think she looks cold! The snow is baking soda!
  5. Hey, everybody! This is Reaper #2711, Amiryth elf archer, that I painted as a winter elf. I based her on the description of the winter elves or Nyss from the Iron Kingdoms setting. She was very fun to paint; in fact, I'm painting another for myself. I made another attempt at freehand with a Nyss symbol on her cloak. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think. Go here for Ebay auction Thanks!
  6. This is Reaper figure 02451: Shawna Wolfsister sculpted by Sandra Garrity. I had a lot of fun doing this piece and since she was wearing a fur cloak, I knew I wanted to try to do a snowy base with an evergreen tree. The tree is a pre-made scenic accessory with baking soda added to simulate snow. Baking soda was also used for the base, where tracks were added behind the characters. Ebay auction here!
  7. Very nice work on an interesting figure! Kind of looks like she's wrapped up like a mummy. I know everyone's commented on it, but yes, the hair and base are very nice! Me likey! :congrats:
  8. I definitely like the mermaid! I also like the dynamic pose of the poisoner!
  9. OMG! :hail: I must have! Especially the minotaur and the dual-weilder!
  10. Hey, everybody! This is finally finished! Hooray! I'm a big WoW fan and wanted to try to do a figure of a night elf riding a hippogriff. I dug around in our boxes'o figures and found a bunch of bits, took them to Pat with some screen shots from the game and asked "can you make me that out of this?" Very Appollo 13-ish! So Pat did the conversion for me which also involved some sculpting with green stuff and I tried to do my best painting it. This was a rather involved conversion that includes three Reaper figures,an old Ral Partha figure I had and even a bit from a GW figure. Many, many, many thanks to Anne and John of Reaper Miniatures Asylum paint club for their help and advice on painting this! Thanks for looking and let me know what you think. Go here to vote at CMON: Thanks!
  11. He didn't come with one, but you're right! He does look like he could use a shield! I have another set. I'll have to see about putting a shield on him next time! Thanks!
  12. She's beautiful! I, too, really like the base!
  13. Hey, everybody! Just wanted to post my two latest completed minis. These are some old Grenadier wererats. This was my second attempt at silver NMM. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
