Butch
Now its time for the Rogue Necromancy. This will get me to a playable 50 SS Crew. The heads are finished save the eyes. These will get red for the sake of some color. Next comes the tail (?). Any ideas for some disgusting details?
Ludvig
Love the dynamica between the cloth colours and the grime. The moss between the stones on the bases is also a very nice touch. The pic of all the belles and doxies together made me wish for a diorama with some dynamic play of light and shadow. From the looks of your work you could definitely pull that off.
Butch
Good wish. I'm busy (with lots of paueses) with a big Space Wolves/Demons diorama since last winter. So not many chances I will do something like that in the near future. But I thougt about doing a little paintjob around the sone-to-come transportbox. Like creating a similar scene on the inside of the box. Let's see what the future brings.
Popular Post Butch
Finnish the RN. Now I'm waiting for the ordered base. I'm really happy how this little fella turned out. At the start I had no idea how this could turn out in the end.
Popular Post Butch
Finally I finished the base of Rogue Necromancy. I am really happy how this monster has turned out. I had no idea what it might look like. Most of the pictures I had seen of a painted RN, I did not like. Mostly the monster just look much too colorful. But I wanted the Mini to look harmonious despite the different "components". A good friend then brought me to mix the main colors together and then go into shadows and lights. So purple, green and beige mixed into a desaturated brown-gray. From this I mixed the other colors in different compositions. The exception is the bright purple of the tail head (?). But then I picked it up again at the tongues. In addition, the tail has a slightly yellowish green, which only exchanges there. The red of the eyes is only there then. I am less proud of the result than rather amazed at what I have achieved. Also the many positive comments on the last malt meeting have really made me happy!

RStrickland
Really nice figures. The pictures of the one in fuchsia under the lamp gave me a special feeling, like I came across an antique find, perhaps porcelain, in an old shop.

I always struggle after finishing the smooth blendings to continue with the bloodsplatter and dirt. But I like how it turned out. Just wanted to let you know that, two years later, I'm using your Crooligans as reference for my own! Just got Molly's box the other week

Butch
After a long break due to live stuff I'm painting again. I stopped paining after I reached what I call my good tabletop standard.

Popular Post Butch
I finished my Archie. First I had to wait until he was available again. And finally after I painted him he got nerved. Guess I have a special new-painted-model-curse. My newly painted models don't get killed in the first round I use them, but they get nerved after I put color on them. Same with my Rotten Belles in ME2.
Nikodemus
I feel you. At least I got month's worth of gaming out of Yasunori Really digging the skintone for this one. Keep them coming👍
Popular Post Butch
Got some miniatures painted. Somewhere in 2020 I painted the Night Terrors. Forgot to post some pictures. And two weeks ago I painted Seamus and the Copycat Killer. Seamus was fun to paint. It took me 2 years to get him started because I really don't like these thingies on his knees. But as I nearly run out of models I gave him a shot. And he really was fun to paint - I'm really happy how he turned out. Very limited palette but still very vibrant colors. The green on his jacket and his trowsers is the same, but I added some yellowish green to highlight his jacket. And I mixed some of that purple in the shadows.

Harlekin
Great work. I especially like the strong colors with nice contrast and your choice of colors for Seamus (and Copycat).
Popular Post Butch
I did some fun painting for a friend in the last weeks. He uses the models for his own dungeon crawler so I was free in my color choices.
