  1. Stupid question - bonus action says to resolve "River's Conflux", but I don't see that ability called out anywhere. What am I missing?
  2. Molly is a bad day for Misaki. It forces her to stay on the table.
  3. In my games against Lady J, I'm typically tabled by Turn 3. I've tried Misaki, Asami, and even Mei Feng. Not much I can do when I can't collect points after Turn 3. So good luck to the OP!
  4. HA! Don't get me wrong, I often find myself frustrated with what she brings to the table. If she at least had a Bonus action..., that said, I most often use her for Diving Charge to get into good places for scheme running. Her ability to be placed helps with that, as well.
  5. Honestly, my first reaction is that she is under-costed, synergizes well with Oni, and will replace Betty in my lists for some time. I guess time will tell if I'm right.
  6. How can he give Fast to Fuhatsu? He only gives Fast by removing Chi from a lower-cost Monk. What am I missing?
  7. Personally, I find his play style to be fairly bland. No real tricks. Just a versatile "good at everything, great at nothing" keyword that is very forgiving of mistakes. It's a great starting Master to learn the game with. I never found him to be OP, but I also started playing just before all of the game stores had to close down and never got to play against people outside of my basement. That said, I have thrown him down a few times, since. The fun thing for me about going between keywords is taking tricks I learned with one Master and apply the trick to another to see if it's viable. Then I play Misaki and lose. 🤣
  8. This is a tough one. I really like Misaki, but I'm not able to win games with her. I enjoyed Mei Feng, but haven't played any games post-errata to see how different it feels. Asami is my next love, but the nerf to summons may kill it as I get in future games.
  9. Terracotta isn’t a Wastrel model. I wouldn’t expect a bonus.
  10. Just played a game with McCabe last night. The card correctly shows 10 Health. The game itself had him at 12 circles, not 10.
  11. Definitely looking forward to getting the new McCabe on the table! He’s not the beast he was before, but now he’s turning his crew up to 11.
  12. Found it on Page 26. Appreciate the help from everyone (in this thread and others!)
  13. Now I’m confused again. 🤣 If you control an enemy model to drop a scheme marker, it drops yours. But if you control an enemy model to attack another enemy model, does it burn Distracted, since Distracted comes into play when one model attacks an enemy model. If not, how does the model count as both Enemy and Friendly at the same time?
  14. I apologize, I can't read. Glad we're all getting aligned, though. Truly, this is the one thing I hate most about this game - rules by consensus as opposed to having the staff or a designee monitor the Rules forums to give the final verdict. When Wyrd sponsors training videos for YouTube that have errors in them, it's even worse.
  15. Also means Adran and [redacted because I can't read] are wrong?
  16. And I agree with Solkan's answer, except for the fact that Wyrd answered it the opposite way in their training videos on YouTube. I even asked this question in the comments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUV0-8f9DIM&t=2s when you drop a Scheme marker, it is friendly to your opponent, not friendly to you. I imagine Wyrd's videos and responses to commons are law?
  17. NVM, taking it to the Rules forum
  18. Your quote from Page 28 is exactly why I think it doesn't work like you say it does. Markers section (page 28 electronic): When a model Drops a Marker, it is friendly to the Crew controlling the model that Dropped it. Obey: Target performs any non-bonus action..., chosen and controlled by this model. So if Obey is controlled by "this model", and when you drop a marker it is friendly to the Crew controlling it, how does this not work?
  19. Oh, I'm just as confused as you are on this one. Did you watch the associated video and read the comments? This situation of Obeying an enemy model to drop a scheme marker was specifically called out (I asked the question in the comments)... and it doesn't match with the above wording.
  20. Cautiously optimistic. I am puzzled by the "We Own You" Tactical Action, as it can only target models with Distracted +2. So if you use them to make any attacks, you're at a negative. And per the game rules (Wyrd's own video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUV0-8f9DIM&t=2s) when you drop a Scheme marker, it is friendly to your opponent, not friendly to you. So I am at a loss as to how to use this.
  21. Some of my cards updated (Tanuki) while some didn’t (Lucas McCabe). Curious if that’s a bug or just timing. I know the poor developer is a busy guy. Thanks!
  22. I’m a fan of 1 Model, 1 card. I want to be able to look across the table and know exactly what I’m looking at. This is one reason I don’t play Warhammer systems. Once you start using the same model but could be version 1 or version 2, it gets confusing.
  23. 1 faction. Started with 3 intentional masters and no plans to collect others. Then I saw the Nightmare boxes and picked up 2 more Masters.... still no interest in the others of my faction because I simply don’t like the play style. If it doesn’t gel, then it simply won’t play well, even if it’s objectively “better.”
  24. I personally enjoy running 2 Wandering River Monks in any heavy-scheme Strategy / scenario. They get to where they need to be, and can get themselves out of trouble. I never played Low River, though, but hear that their Healing abilities are great.
