    Yeah I don't see how an attack would have LOS but you couldn't drop a scheme marker with LOS

    in Freikorps, I would say at least 1/4 of my games I was stacking about 4 focus on Hannah and/or Arik. You'd strengthen their armor, load up, copy strengthen armor and concentrate to go *hard* turn 2. It's not going to be a huge change for me though, I'll just spread the focus around. I think I had already started moving in that direction. Engineers strengthening their own armor so I wasn't as reliant on the big boys and girls.

    I only ever get 3-4 stones from a prospector, they also provide scheme marker removal and creation, and some card cycling/drawing. Likewise I think Jessie can generate soul stones while also pulling enemies away from where they want to be. I don't know if it's worth it, but I think this change makes it more likely to be.

    I thought about it, but it's worse than just hiring the Nothing Beast, unless *maybe* in Freikorps

    @VessienI believe friendly or enemy controlled mainly applies to taking interacts for the strategy. I remember people *hated* Zoraida in pre-GG0 Plant Explosives because she could obey you to drop bombs in your own deployment zone (or to pick them back up after you dropped them).

    So in keyword, her TNs now require only a 4 and 5. Enough of a buff to make her worth bringing? A 4for a soulstone seems huge to me.

    Isn't this an enormous buff to cryptologists? If you set up a model near a scrap marker and had an artifact attached that turn, you're getting fast and draw a card for a 7. And maybe this is what Jessie needs too? a 4to get a soulstone seems worth it now.

    Her obey gets better if Ivan's crew is giving themselves distracted. I haven't gamed it all out but might come out equal.

    With the new focus/distracted rules, it should virtually guarantee they can only attack you with a neg flip, possibly double negs. Actually, I think I figured it out. She's the greatest tarpit in the game. We Own You a model into engagement then slow and stacked distracted, your Joss or whomever is just done for the game.

    DUA counter lol Otherwise, mainly picking up scheme markers or walking out of position? Putting distracted on your own models for extra interacts?

    I think you're going to want to Riddles into We Own You virtually every turn. Pretty clear they want her to be Control™ master and not a damage dealer. However, in a situation where you need her to attack for damage, probably a focus attack is the move since moderate is equal to 3 weaks.

    Although if there's impassible terrain an incorporeal model can't fully clear, it would open up 360 degree movement

    You could trigger the Bump In the Night ability with the previous rules too. Neither model would physically move, but it counts a move happening. The difference is you can make them walk to the other side now.

    it would be very tricky to line up a situation where moving through a model is a further distance than not, but I suppose it could come up.

    Sorry, I meant when you face a 2" melee crew. Going against eg Nekima or Brewmaster, this upgrade lets you avoid getting tied down.

    I think you may be underestimating Escape Plan. It could be a good tech pick for any 2" melee crew. Battle Temp and On The Move have done so much for me.

    I still think Onward with the rocket man trigger would have been the ideal nerf. You can still interact, move, interact, but you can't consistently leap

    So I just realized Work of Art is not enemy only, you can turn your own models into scheme markers if needed. That will probably be rare, but when it comes up be totally clutch.

    You can still assist distracted off, perhaps they created a role for some of the cheap models everyone hates?
