  1. Yeah but it unnecessarily removes a very interesting dimension. Dig their Graves and something like Claim Jump being in the pool, and suddenly they need to decide which one they want to avoid.Heck, I always tried to go for Claim Jump regardless of whether or not I was using it since it kept my opponents on their toes.
  2. Tournament kit is an excellent idea, and I think Molly looking at schemes takes away from bluffing, which I find is really fun to do. Personally I still find that Malifaux is a gourmet dish, even if I do agree that they're overdoing the spices a little - but the game's always been hard to keep track of, and more options isn't something I'd scoff at.
  3. No idea. Since I don't love the model I've been using Mrs. Bellerose as a stand-in so far, and will probably convert something up to have a proper dedicated figure. She really just does everything you could wish for - considerably tanky (boy I wish Lynch had her unique passive), gets you free cards, hands out brilliance all while being reasonably costed.
  4. Uh.. he did get Gywn, and from my experience she's pretty insane enough. My main issue with him is that he's just so damn fragile - coupled with his low range and mobility, I can't really make use of him without putting him in danger. I'm getting better at it, but he just folds to proper assault of any sort.
  5. Teach me your Lynch ways Master, I've been doing nothing but failing miserably with him so far.
  6. It doesn't sound bad, but yeah, Penelops or Cranko are too good not to have, and a Slop Hauler does a better job healing while also being able to do other things.
  7. Ten Thunder Bros for me. Granted, once my pool expands a lil more I might branch out into other models, but they're just that versatile.
  8. Concerning Patroklos, are you sure he's not the Fox who doesn't get the Grapes? The setting looks perfect.
  9. I don't know, to me Corn Husks is easily Ulix' biggest selling point (and also the reason why I bring Piglets into lists as well). Not bringing Old Major limits Husks to a large amount. Pools where Old Major is a liability are therefore in my opinion pools where Ulix is a bad choice.
  10. Checking the new GG document, the Ram Strat and Scheme strike me as ideal for one of our masters. I'm talking about none other than the cantankerous Greek swine priest himself, Ulix! Gremlin brothers and sisters, do you believe in the power of the Pig? Will the herdmaster come out more often for you? What do you think?
  11. Great reply, but I still have some questions. Do you think either of them synergizes better with some masters over others? I heard Asami wants Tannen for summoning purposes, which was my main excuse for buying him since I wanted to branch out from Shenlong and Lynch into the demon-spawning hairess.
  12. "...the Old Firm. Nuisances eliminated, obstacles obliterated, bothersome limbs removed, and tutelary dentistry." What place do Graves and Tannen have in or lists? I purchased the lot of them for lore reasons (having read Neverwhere I couldn't resist) and I've faced Graves a bunch whenever put up against Neverborn, but we already have a bunch of pushing as it stands. So my question is, what purpose does the lot (or individually) have in clan lists?
  13. I wouldn't mind, for tournament purposes you might just need to convert it up a little. Alternatively just ask your opponent pre-deployment if it's alright with them, and if you do run into a pedant, use the regular model.
  14. I've been reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman recently and there are two figures that reminded me quite strongly of two fellows we know: Mr. Graves and Mr. Tannen. Malifaux being full of both obvious and obscure references (I'm still not sure if Vincent St.Clair is supposed to represent Vin Diesel or not) I was wondering if the lead designers took some inspiration from the two crooked thugs that appear to be humans to the untrained eye.
  15. When her body is Warhammer but her face is Kingdom Death...
  16. Hey Tris.

    Who am I?

  17. @daemonkin certainly an option. Still, alt models tend to come in packs of one. I think personally I'd like to see a Fermented River monk who dipped into the wrong kind of brew and got addicted to brilliance. Their increased resistance would also let him stay in the Illuminated phase for longer before getting depleted by Huggo.
  18. If you manage to partner up with FFG, Edward Kim from Netrunner would make an amazing Kang alt. Alt Illuminated with a TT leaning, as my Orzhov brother has pointed out, would certainly be tight as well.
  19. Terracotta is a thing after all (and apparently becoming even better).
  20. I still maintain that Wong shoulda been dual faction Arcanists.
