    Zipp in OC

Today, the only reason to play Outcast Zipp is having declared Outcast and wanting to play a superfast disruptive crew (and to surprise your opponent). Zipp is way stronger in Bayou than in Outcast.
  2. By timing rules, both effects should happen at the same time, so active player resolves its effects first (unburies the buried target) and then the non-active player resolves its effects and buries again. In fact, not completely sure if the active player resolves first the effects that AFFECT its models (being buried is not affecting Aionus, so he really don't resolve any effect) and then the non-active player resolves the effects that affect its models, in whatever order it chose, but really it wouldn't change the outcome, since could choose to unbury first and then bury. The owner of the target chooses.
  3. Hello, I was thinking about putting somewhere what Actions/Triggers/Abilities/Rules that involves Outcast do you think should be clarified. Not about errating/buffing/nerfing models, but fixing things that may not be clear on seem not to be used as intended due to wording. For example General actions are considered to be "actions of models"? Like Hannah copying herself to do a charge with a action. When targeting a model with an action, must the model be considered to be "Friendly" Or "Enemy" During the whole action? Like attacking a Guilty with a Tormented model and relent, but triggering a "enemy only" Trigger. When multiple models are replaced by a single model, and some but not all of those models have activated, is the new model considered to have activated? Like Hamelin using "Unclean Influence" to make one Rat King replace 4 Malifaux Rats, but one of those Malifaux Rats has already activated. When one enemy Scheme Marker is dropped within 6" Of two models with Wanted Criminal, how many cards do you draw? How does the Necrotic Decay trigger work with models that have natural damage reduction? The only current model this effects is Ashes & Dust with Incorporeal, but it would also effect any future model with Armour, Shielded, or one that can use Soul Stones. clarifications on the replace rules would be nice. That way we can know for sure how out of activation replaces are supposed to work. Especially with Hamelin using his bonus action to cause tangled together for a rat king - can (multiple) instances of the extra action carry over, for instance? I feel Levi being able to sac himself with his bonus action is pretty obviously legal. But a faq confirming that would put out the rumours We also probably need some feedback on how Leveticus damage and Hoffman's trigger to make armor unable to be ignored work together. I'm in the camp that Leveticus still gets full damage since the exact wording of irreducible damage says that it can't be reduced, not that it ignores reduction. Moré Q added
  4. Only Tormented models can treat friendly Guilty as enemies, so Bandidos can't do that. But Dead Outlaws can trigger Drop It from Guilty, which can be really helpful if you have Wanted Criminal near.
  5. Indeed, just pointing a rule/ability interaction that seems not being clear how it should be used. Just like Hannah's copying a charge.
  6. And I'm quite sure you can attack your Guilty as an enemy model, relent, and then treat it as enemy again for triggering purposes. It really needs a FAQ asap
  7. Freikorps don't have any form to force the enemy to drop scheme markers, so Wanted Criminal is a nonsense to them (in fact, is a trash Upgrade, but Bandits can make good use of it) unless you play a dumb opponent that chooses to drop scheme markers near you. Soldier for Hire requires a killy minion to draw cards, and while almost each Freikorps minion can be killy, the obvious choice would be the Drachen Trooper, but be aware because it's really easy to put fire on the enemy and let it kill them, but then you would not draw any card.
  8. But you could spend ss and replenish your pool without exceeding the max 3.
  9. Not sure which are the hard counters to Leveticus. Do you mean any anti-demise tech?
  10. While I agree with not really a problem with LJ going up to stat 7, in Outcast we had the problem of Von Schill being an auto-take add secondary master because his crew had no sinergy at all, and he could then give upgrades to any model. Wyrd decided that, instead looking for some form of synergy with his own crew, it was better to nerf his capability to provide upgrades even when he is the leader. So no, guild was not the only faction testing second masters.
  11. Because Outcast can hire Malifaux Child for extra pianos, Midnight Stalker or Prospectors, and you can play hard mode by paying for some lackluster upgrades.
  12. Reading the last doubts about models that ignore terrain not allowed to charge from the floor to the top of a building, I wondered how it should be resolved the opposite. Models that ignore terrain (like Incorporeal or Diving Charge) takes damage when charging from the top of a terrain to the floor? I'm giving as a fact that this movement is allowed, even to regular models, but ignoring terrain would allow to ignore also the falling damage?
  13. Really, only if just Direct Control trigger from Hamelin's Unclean Influence stated that Malifaux Rats are not considered Insignifican for the action generated, it would be a more sweet engine (still not able to drop scheme markers too near to other scheme markers). Also, Loyal Rats with tiny hats could have better range, or maybe have the option to not remove the scheme markers in range (only if you want), but then it should be only once per activation. Anyway, it's not a bad draw engine to give Benny and other model Wanted Criminal and exchange one action and the bonus action from Benny to draw 3 cards each turn. (You have one scheme marker in range, summon a single rat of it, kill the rat and drop a enemy scheme marker, draw 2 cards for the 2 upgrades and 1 card for the rat's demise).
  14. Today, I played versus Ophelia with Thurs crew. New Von Schill Crew (Outcasts) Size: 50 - Pool: 4 Leader: Von Schill Totem(s): Steam Trunk Hires: Hannah Lovelace Freikorps Engineer Freikorps Scout Freikorps Librarian Drachen Trooper Lazarus Wedge. Reckoning. Again, we took about an hour for each turn, and only payed 2 turns. It's becoming frustrating because we seem to not get any better at speeding our games. Hannah did nothing, (maybe 1 point of damage to Francois). Von Schill gave upgrades. Drachen did 1 point of damage and burning to Ophelia and 1 young. Librarian Healed a bit Engineer gave out Shielded in the first turn, and then a bit of damage to Sammy on the second (I had 4 severes and the BJ in hand, so I didn't used her bonus action in the second turn, a bit sad). Scout finished Sammy with an (un)lucky RJ in damage (Sammy was his Vendetta target, so lost a point here) and was severely injured by Raphael. Lazarus did a bit of damage to Raphael, Merris, Bokkor, Ophelia, Sammy and Francois, while drawing a couple of severes and ss from my opponent, but did also cost me a pair of severes (I had quite too good hand and had to cheat 2 of its 4 shots).
  15. Yeah, but not in-built and need Von Schill for this. The fact is that Land Mines action is way better, since it puts two markers and has longer range,
  16. I've said it before, it would be great to add to their profile the "Create Trap" Action with in-built Reposition trigger, so with a 6 they can create a Pit Trap marker and push 3"
  17. You could take both versus any crew. But you could score both versus Viktorias!
  18. Yeah, comparisons between Scout and Riflemen are usual, although they really don't seem to have de same function in their crews. I would like to see some kind of improvement in Scouts, but not Sniper.
  19. I thought people was expecting something this winter. We have 6 months until June, so maybe is too early for this thread xD
  20. But we really still think that they are gonna make a Errata?
  21. I always supposed that Leveticus made and install himself his arm...
  22. We had a doubt in today's game. If Wong uses "Uncontrollable Magic" to center the Shockwave of Fzzzzap! on a friendly Wizz-Bang model, the model suffers 1 damage, but also suffers the effect of Fzzzzap! Shockwave?
  23. Today I repeated the same list than the old game. Viktoria - 6ss Viktoria Taelor Vanessa Big Jake Student 3 Ronin Versus Wong. This time I decided to go Lilly with the Viks, they kill Burt Jebsen and then go with double activation an 5 severes in hand in the hunt of Wong. I burnt ss and my hand to do a stunning 2 damage, and then Wong left both Viktorias and taelor at half wounds, while keeping his whole hand. The Ronin played their own game and scored for me Power Ritual and Outflank, while one of them killed a Lightning Bug and hold Gracie one turn. Student gave fast to Vanessa and Taelor, nothing more. Taelor fast could engage Gautreau Bokor and failed 2 attacks (my hand was empty thanks to Viks activation), and saw herself down to 1 wound to die. Vanessa reached the center line and luckiky killed one more Bug. Big Jake dropped the scheme marker of my corner for Power Ritual. The game ended after turn 2 because of shop closing (it was the first time of my opponent with Wong, but still I feels M3E takes a lot of time to play). Really disappointed with combat Vikies. They killed one model with a lucky flip, and then failed to do something with 8M, 10M, 11M, 12T, 12C and 13M in hand. One of the worst performances I've seen in a supposedly melee monsters.
  24. Are you gonna restock your faction packs of cards?
  25. This is the main idea in M3E, but in M2E it was a defensive buff, and I really liked it (it could even be the same, to enemy attacks that target WP versus friendly models in range). But now he has 2 bonus actions which can only be used when near the enemy.
