  1. To be fair it's not hard to compile the list if you have the books. It took me about 30 minutes to do the Neverborn and Gremlin lists.
  2. I went through and checked just Neverborn and Gremlins a while ago because I wanted to hunt them all down. Sadly, it made me realize that there are a lot of tokens not available, even from Customeeple, but that there's almost no Gremlin specific tokens.
  3. Come on guys, we all know the real inspiration for it. it's not a Xenomorph.
  4. To be fair it looks exactly like the art in Into the Bayou. This is what it was always going to look like.
  5. To be fair, Grow works mechanically because in the fluff it can be accelerated. Rapid Growth and Black Blood Shamans abilities reflect that. Converting someone into a half breed isn't as fast. That said, I'd love to see an upgrade for Nekima that interacts with half breeds. Unfortunately they didn't make a new tag for the half breed Nephilim, and just gave them the Nephilim tag, so new interactions around them is harder to do. edit - edited out the part about psitives to attack flips outside of their activation. That was Corrupted Hounds.
  6. I wouldn't say no to something like Customeeples Malifaux control panel for tracking soulstones, VPs and turns.
  7. I'm expecting something at least shown next weekend.
  8. I'd put A Thousand Faces on the Mature Nephilim to give the crew some potential anti-armour from Retributions Eye or give it some healing from Malifaux Provides which it might need after a big fight, and honestly I'd try to find the points to put both Rapid Growth and The True Mother on Nekima. Both upgrades on Nekima turn her into a growth missile. She's got the power to brute force through minions and enforcers to get those Tots growing, and The True Mother lets her bring in more Tots from Born of Blood triggering off her (0) Blood for Blood. But that's just the way I play them. Your list looks fine too.
  9. Movement tricks doesn't make him a beatstick. Even with The Bigger They Are, he doesn't do so much damage to be regarded as a beatstick master. He's a shutdown/debuff master with some crew support in the way of those pushes. That's why so much of his card revolves around his Curses and why he can take 2 of them even with a full set of upgrades.
  10. I'll say this - it's some of the most pleasant balance discussion I've seen. Seeing other games (not just the usual GW, but Infinity discussion as well) going off the rails, this is almost like people sitting around a table with a beer.
  11. Probably encouraged by the new willingness to errata things. Prior to the January errata Things had to be well and truly overpowered to get an errata, but the January errata showed a willingness to balance just 'quality of life' type updates and to buff up underperforming models. So now people are making themselves heard about where they think the issues are. It's slowly been building up since January. The second errata in July would have reminded people this is a thing now.
  12. True but the OP also says Cherub + another model, which is why I commented on that.
  13. Each Allegiance box comes with allegiance themed Tactics tokens, and there is a token pack with 5 each of Reinforcement, Shaken, Pinned, Inspired and generic Tactics that is not kickstarter exclusive, so I'd guess it's getting sold at retail. IIRC the acrylic tokens in the kickstarter are being made by Customeeple (who make the official acrylic tokens for Malifaux) and are not to my knowledge kickstarter exclusive either. Other than turns there seems to be very little else to track in the game. Maybe objective tokens, or 100mm markers for things like Tide Pools, but the game seems refreshingly light on extra bits and bobs compared to Malifaux.
  14. I built the alternate Swine Cursed pretty easily. They're big models with few parts, a refreshing change for Gremlins.
  15. Again, depends on schemes. One Tot can set up Claim Jump with the Cherub, but I had Leave Your Mark as well, so I wanted 2 to reliably get in their backline as well. Very true. But we weren't talking about a Tot on its own, we were talking about a Tot with a Cherub.
  16. Cherub makes dropping the scheme marker a (0) action, so they've got an action left over to reposition. If you need to set up Claim Jump then get ready to do something else, the extra movement is really handy.
  17. I used the Cherub, plus 2 Terror Tots for this in a recent game. With Sprint they can get up, drop 2 markers, and get in position for what ever other scheme you might need them for (in my case, Leave your mark). Then they can get back and do the same thing another turn. For Neverborn it's worth mentioning the Scion of Black Blood can make other models take a (1) Interact with its (0) Tactical action, so a model can drop a marker, walk, then it makes them drop another.
  18. Grow is fine, but it's not something that makes you hire a Mature, it's something you try to aim to grow Tots and Young into. The thing with Lilith is nothing she does by default synergises with her crew. Pandora, by default, causes a lot of Wp tests, which ping Misery, trigger Smell Fear, and is enhanced by Wp debuffs like I Can Hear Them and Web. The crew itself buffs each other by causing or penalizing the failure of Wp tests. The Dreamer has a standard tactical action when used on Nightmares or Minions has a wide array of beneficial uses, as well as having a healing aura for Nightmares and his totems being able to push them as well. These are crews where taking thematic models is encouraged because they all work off each other either by unit design or keyword use, and the masters do so as well. Lilith does none of that. Aside from Growth, her skills are, with the exception of Summon the Blood, entirely generic. One upgrade works off Black Blood, and one upgrade works off Nephilim. Lilith herself on her base card does nothing for Nephilim specifically, and her most popular upgrades do nothing for them specifically. The same could be said for Zoraida who is a Swampfiend but does nothing specifically for Swampfiends. About Nephilim being considered worse than other Neverborn units, that's not entirely true. Terror Tots are still considered great scheme runners. They're the most effective when used with Jakob Lynch, rather than Lilith. Young Nephilim aren't bad, they're unfortunately 1 soulstone off Illuminated. Not many 6ss/7ss models in the game stack up well to Illuminated. The Mature Nephilim is often relegated to Nekima, but has his own niche (well it does when people realize Nekima can't take Retributions Eye). Lilitu is considered to be the factions best Lure, and still a good model in its own right. Nekima is the default beater for basically the whole faction. The Black Blood Shaman is fine in a Grow list, which seems to be its intended function. The only Nephilim that are really considered 'bad' are Lelu and the starter Nephilim. This is where bloat comes from. Model redundancy. Why should I take a Young Nephilim with Lilith when I can take an Illuminated? Well, with Lilith, Young Nephilim should shine, the way an Insidious Madness does with The Dreamer or Pandora. Model redundancy can be fixed when thematic choices with a master are benefited.
  19. To combat model bloat, what I'd like to see is stronger synergy between thematic models and masters, but still have some 'wildcard' models that work across masters within a faction. For example, you've got the Mature Nephilim, which is Liliths thematic Enforcer beater. However, there's no real difference taking that or a Teddy, for the same cost, to do the same thing. They have their differences, but they're both filling the same Enforcer beater niche. There's plenty of reasons for Teddy to go with masters its more thematically tied to - Gobble you Up and Terrifying are nice Wp duels for a Pandora crew, and Smell Fear triggers off the Wp duels Pandoras thematic models cause. He's also a Nightmare which has built in synergies with the Dreamer - Daydreams can push him, the Dreamer can heal him, give him extra actions and more pushes, give him Fast and remove conditions. There's... not nearly as much synergy with the Mature Nephilim, or any Nephilim, and Lilith. For this reason she's a very popular master without her thematic Nephilim. She doesn't do any more for them than she does for other Neverborn in general. Barbaros is considered more of a model for Titania these days, and Nekima is generaly fielded with any crew. Now that's not bad that there's synergies outside of their thematic crew, but to have so little in your thematic crew creates more of a bloat problem. About new Factions, at this point I think there could be room for a Tyrants faction, since after Titania waking up, the Tyrants are going to be taking the threat much more seriously and possibly even start working together. You've got some masters that are good choices for dual faction, and some good opportunity to introduce some of the 'missing' tyrants. Maybe even have the Tyrant models that go over split from their current faction, but have Infiltration to keep some of their old thematic models that don't go with them.
  20. Not everything from TtB makes it to Malifaux. Things like Witch Scours and Bag Men from the Fatemasters Almanac, and plenty in the expansions and adventures. I'm holding out hope Gloom Crows make it to Malifaux. They'd be great with Pandora, giving some more mobile Misery auras. They also have an aura that makes it harder to make social interactions, because they make people fight with each other. This could translate to Chatty, stopping Interact actions within 6", or maybe Wp debuffs within 6". I was also hoping the Bunyip would make it, but that's just because it's so far the only Australian myth that's made it into the setting.
  21. I have to agree with this. I often see the Mature disregarded for Nekima, but any time I've used him his armour 1 and positive to attack flips has come in real handy and as said, makes him more self sufficient than Nekima. Nekima has always eaten my SS pool and hand to do what she does. And while she does it better than the Mature, those are precious resources that can be used for other things. Retributions Eye is a big one. I often see people talk about A Thousand Faces on Nekima to swap for Retributions Eye for hitting armour or Malifaux Provides to eat some scheme markers for healing, but a lot of people miss the face that Retributions Eye is Enforcer only, which is fair because that's an odd restriction, but it is one. But that use of A thousand Faces works wonderfully on the Mature.
  22. You won't always like every new unit your faction is getting in a new book. If you look back to Shifting Loyalties, I wasn't a fan of any of the Gremlins. They just didn't do anything for me. I'm primarily a Neverborn Lilith player, so I was happy about the Emissary and Nephilim, but the Bunraku and Wrath were pretty much misses for me (until I actually tried Bunraku, at least) and I was so put off by the Changelings appearance (I was hoping they'd look like the little Faeries on the Emissarys base) that I still don't have any.
  23. Well, it's actually not on the Wyrd store yet. They usually take a month or two to put releases on their own store to let local stores get sales.
