I think Levi is super strong and probably isnt as popular cause Von Schill+ Yannic and Tara exist. The few games I played with him oost errata he still evaporates stuff pretty fast and I usually manage to get 1-2 leaps off

What does “ignoring Terrain” mean? a) A model that ignores Terrain ignores and is unaffected by all of that terrain’s traits. If the Terrain is Impassable, the model may move through (but not end in) the terrain as though it weren’t there. Ignoring terrain does not allow a model to ignore the vertical distance of that terrain, so if the model wanted to move on top of terrain, it would still need to move that vertical distance using that terrain’s Climbable Trait. So ignoring means unaffected by all terrain traits so if Desper moves through a Pyre Marker and Sonnia, Unmasked is alive, he suffers the effects of Hazardous

Perdita2 is pretty good at Leylines. Summoned Pistoleros are decently fast and can score it next turn after summon. Trick Shot is pretty good at moving models away from markers. Damage output isngood enough that you can't really go into a firefight. LJ2 for me is also decent at Leylines but she basically plays a deny game more than any strat.

3 hr limit per game but most games finish in time. I hope second masters never becomes a thing

How is the scale? Aren't they a tad bit smaller than Mx?

The issues I have with this is a) this is still a wargame b) you might end up with very uninteractive gameplay where both players do what they want. Not saying I disagree with you but I think both things have to be taken into account

I assume players that play 10 games a year don't care about gaining grounds. And even if they don't know every stat or TN they might remember the attack has a stat6 that you just changed. Changing a card isn't as easy as making a change in Illustrator. It requires playtesting, it requires physical printing, sometimes shuffling card space.

The question to ask here. Is Katanaka worse than all other sniper or is Rami better than all other snipers?

I would buff some models but then I might lose and my ego will be crushed and my sole identity is based off of winning in a niche tabletop game. The ego comment is insanely offensive and based on anecdata. I agree some models should be buffed by buffs and not indirect buffs but saying "people don't want buffs" better has a large collection of quotes to backup.

I don't think it's pass tokens, charges or focus. I think it's that the focus required to take out more expensive models is a lot higher due to defensive tech. Killing cheap stuff takes away activations, actions and a lot of the time it's relatively easy.

I have no idea how this works from a market perspective. There's a bunch of stores that would like to order from distributors but the distributors don't want to make easy money :o?

Her issue is she is just too squishy for what she does. Her defensive trigger is: a) after succeeding b) not built in c) on a df5 model At least one (or potentially 2) of those things should change to make her not seem like a waste. Second part is: comparing her bonus to any other SS generation is just bad. I mean if she had Loot Their Corpses she would be better at it. Unchecked Avarice can see some usage into bubbly crew but they aren't really picked often in the current meta. It starts to be worth it at 2 and becomes good at 3+ which is hard to achieve.

Dear Wyrd, It saddens me to see the state of Malifaux stocks in Europe. I can totally understand COVID/Shipping but it's worth noting that since Brexit happens, 95% of stores will not buy Malifaux from a UK distributor since the import costs kill any sense of having it. Most of the non-UK stores didn't get Malifaux Burns book and ANY title box (November releases). There are several keywords that you can't complete. A lot of them you have to scrap through 2-3-4 stores. I know Europe might not be your primary market but it's really hard to get new players in when they literally can't buy anything ;( Total Wyrd Fanboy
