Wrasters most definitely are not broken. They are of limited use, but what you use them for (marker removal & condition removal) they excel at! Malifaux Child, also in Infamous, is gloriously to drop more Pianos. How is 8 Pianos a turn not amazing?! Also, my friend uses the Child in Amalgam to copy Draw Essence for free when Hidden Martyrs is in the pool. Malifaux Child is solidly mid... nothing is broken on that kid at all. I only use Barbaros as a Leader to play some messed up Outcast Nephilim crews, and for that alone as a three action Bring It "lure" into that heavy melee crew, he is so good!

The problem with Oni is the hiring pool is HUGE so it's hard to plan for. If it's corner deployment, will probably taking flying so prepare for Emissary, Ama & Tengu. We lack condition removal, so they might go for adding Obsidian Statue and/or Wanyudo to summong Obsidian Oni bombs and burn you to death. Might just go all star versatile & just use Asami as a summoning battery. There's just too many unknowns. All the good Vendetta targets usually get summoned; you don't summon so probably won't take Bettari. The only thing I can think of is if they are the kind of person I am, I hire my Katashiro; you could pick a Bandito to Vendetta.

It's gonna be like Ironman; every event has gonna upgrade it, soon well have Calypso 49, nanotech Calypso, Hulkbuster Calypso, Iron Spider Calypso....

Run & Gun on the Drachen would be awesome! What about dropping a Pyre marker automatically if you kill a model with the flamethrower?

It even seems designed that way on purpose just in case they want to go that direction.... but not that they have to. It's a structure that can be built upon, but doesn't have to be used.

Ah, I see... I'm far too altruistic is my problem. I'm thinking a fun bonus for people, but I forget people are terrible. Maybe it would work as a bonus ticket when you're doing Chinese auction style prize formats.

I don't know how common this is, but it would probably work better in bigger events. What if you got a whole additional bonus point each round for playing a Leader no one else played in the round? Not that would affect who won or lost the game, but to your total tournament points.

I don't understand the Obident Wretch nerf talk. There are 3 models in the game with Bleeding disease, 1 Master, 1 Henchman, 1 Enforcer, and that is somehow too powerful? It's an auto take in keyword where 3 of the 7 other Plague models to pick from are summonable and 1 is on the shortlist of worst models in the game, and that is somehow too powerful? It almost never is seen out of keyword, and that is somehow too powerful? So is Nix next on the chopping block?

With the Starter Box on the horizon, Catalan Snipers are probably going to put a nail in the coffin that are Desperate Mercenary; it will probably have to do something drastic like just drop the cost to 2 or 3 to even be considered (unless the new Minions are like 7-8 Soul Stones each, which would be a crying shame). Drachen I only take in very specific situations, then they're fine.... but I do fight December a lot so I may be biased. I have yet to play Umbra, but I bet it might be similar. They are a waste in any other crew build. I also wish they were cheaper. Lazarus needs help. It should have a regular attack & a Shockwave. Assimalate is really only useful out of keyword. Von Schill upgrades from a pistol to a rifle so obviously his damage output goes down... that's just science! (no it is not) Oddly enough, Viktoria is the only flat min 3 damage Master in the faction.

Honestly in scenario 3, you know what you should spend you ook points on: 2 Bushwackers. If he puts two markers in buildings, then they're gonna be hard for him to protect too. Put the Bushwackers next to the ones in the building with the markers and then block the entrances with pit traps. With that, stealth and cover, there's no way you're not getting any building marker points.

Infamous flying around buildings is easy, why would you think they are a problem?

If you gave her Trusty Flask & Driving While A Drink but no ability to resist poison, that would be hilarious!

If you table a Tricksy crew, the Pit Trap markers don't just stop holding you up even though there's nothing on the table saying the markers are Severe, Hazardous (Damage +1 & Injured +1). Same logistics would apply.

Really the only actions it takes are moving, scheming and healing; never get a chance to shoot because other stuff scores points. With Montressor, he's the only thing giving out Staggered, unless you're hiring more ook stuff, then at that point just play Tormented. Unless you're playing against a traditional summoner using upgrade cards, then he's a great tech pick.
