  1. I agree with @thatlatinspeakingguyTo be more precise, on page 24, you can find the definition of a Damage flip:

    Quote

    Damage Flips

A damage flip is a variable flip that determines how much damage a model suffers due to an effect. Damage flips are not a type of duel and are unaffected by game effects that reference duels. The most common modifier for damage flips is an Accuracy Fate Modifier.

While on page 22 it is said that the disengage action resolves as follows:

    Quote

    Disengage

Can only be declared while engaged. One enemy model engaging this model (opponent’s choice) may take a :ToS-Melee: Attack targeting this model; neither model can declare Triggers as a result of this Attack. After resolving the Attack (if any), this model pushes up to its Mv in inches. If the attack is successful, instead of its normal effects, reduce this model’s Push distance by 2/4/6 inches (using the Accuracy Fate Modifier of the Action). This flip receives a :+flip for every other enemy model engaging this model.

Hence, the variable flip involved is not a damage flip because it does not determine how much damage a model suffers.

  2. Page 12 on "Action Triggers": Action Triggers are tied to specific Actions and can only be used with that Action.

Since triggers are part of the action, it seems to me that you can't attach an upgrade.

Edit: Oh... I think I now understood your question. You're asking if you can even take the action without the trigger. I don't know... That's an interesting question.

I have taken 2 with MEI fang in corner deployment for plant explosives against zoraida (N) and took both outflank and power ritual.

If I see outflank in the pool, two miners are autoinclude for me.

Arguably the best 1ss model in the game

I agree a lot with this. It is rare when I decide not to mine to be honest. I include two miners in almost all my games. My activations with them tend to be mine, concentrate, bury/unbury/interact.

@Franchute, my best congrats for your homemade wood bases; they are definitely better than the best ones we can fing on the market.

Now, I'm looking to buy all I need from GreeStuffWord to homemake my bases too. May I ask you what stuff did you used on your own? May be milliput? I read it's important working with stuff not sticking to rolls.

    Thanks in advance.

I simply used green stuff. I needed a couple trials. I added water so that it doesnt stick. The result is not perfect, but then you can add skulls or sand on top of the parts you messed up. I also cut the excess around the base with a scalpel.

I saw a youtube video by greenstuffworld where they were showing how they proceed. If I find it, I'll send it to you.

Also dont forget that you can only submit the quiz if you have selected an answer to every question. So someone like me who only owns Mei Feng, cant speak for the other masters, and doesnt want to vote randomly in case it skews results, just doesnt vote. It'd be interesting to see how many people "havent tried" masters to see how that changes things

The same here. I dont play a game everyday. I've only tried a limited number of arcanist masters and, among these, there are several I dont firmly master. I agree with you @Mycellanious the majority of us cannot play them all, and I'd bet that, among those who answered the questionaire, there are some people who have played less than nine masters 😉
