  1. Yeah, she seems to be everybody's darling and most people seem to think her crew is one of the best overall ...
  2. You'll be waiting A LONG time on all those Nightmare crews, though. Not sure if I have the patience till hell freezes over.
  3. Well, situated in Germany, but I think postage and customs is usually much worse than a slightly unfavorable exchange rate. Wyrd REALLY needs a distributor in Europe offering similar deals for us geographically challenged ...
  4. What masters do you have and which ones are you thinking of buying?
  5. You might find some pointers here:
  6. Slightly OT, but ... I have used the 'Three Jorogumo' with Yamaziko, but I felt that with McCabe it was a bit redundant. I'd love to hear any experiences with Misaki. We even have a thread about it:
  7. Start of turn, yes. Otherwise, I think others can do something similar. And you don't even have to go overboard like that Lynch-Lust-list I linked to, even though THAT is some hand control. But Lynch in TT is pretty crazy: - Mulligan, possibly twice with the Sensei - +2 cards when Lynch goes last - Shadow Conflux on Emissary with aces let's you draw two cards for SS - Each TT Brother with the ace of rams (and another ace for discard) let's you draw a card; potentially three cards per turn Shadow Emissary with Shenlong and Low River Monk let's you draw three cards per turn ...
  8. Cool report, and again, thanks to the rules details, really easy to follow - even if the battle was a bit lopsided. Thanks for that!
  9. That is (or used to be, we'll see) true, but there is a certain quality about not even having to go out of one's way to get kills, but rather just 'summon' them to court and gun/slash them down. Who doesn't like belles (apart from the opponent)?
  10. I even stopped using the Sensei with Lynch, because Lynch's upgrade allows that extra push for a (0). So, yeah, I agree, the Shadow dragan has firmly taken the Sensei's place in my crews.
  11. Thanks for the report. I've played Levi with twop belles and Sybelle as well, and God, did I feel dirty afterwards.
  12. Which Masters did you play it with? The Mysterious one is the one I have the hardest time gauging, the others seem more straight forward, somehow.
  13. No Hexed Among You? Sounds like it would fit the list (on Mc Tavish).
  14. If you're talking about my comment, that was only because daniello_s was one of the most vocal against the new FAQ and recently reduced all his Outcasts to just Leveticus & Jack ... :-P
  15. Well, in truth, there were games I played with Levi where it DID feel exactly like that ...
  16. Because this was briefly touched upon in another topic, I'd thought with some of the Emissaries being immanent and some time passing since the first discussion about the Emissaries, it'd might be worthwhile to talk about the various Emissaries. Somebody else mentioned the Carrion Emissary being the strongest, and while I agree it's strong, I think it at least shares a place with Shadow. Not sure if I even made a list without the Shadow Emissary in the past months (mainly Lynch & McCabe). Then somebody mentioned Arcane Emissary as the strongest, which surprised me. Haven't played it yet, but from I gathered, most Arcanist players found it pretty lackluster?
  17. With you asking, I guess the answer has to be: Jack Daw! :-P
  18. A lot of people prefer it on the board from the beginning to carry Pack Leader, as it's pretty survivable (unlike a lot of Marcus' beasts) ...
  19. Yeah, I guess that's a bit of a perspective thing. I'd liken (now at least) Levi to be a 'skirmisher', as Stryder called his Seamus after winning the Masters, not an all-out murder machine. He could do the skirmishing thing before, but why would you, when you could just kill whole enemy crews in two turns (see Icemyn's battle report)? So he didn't get any new abilities, but the focus has shifted - I think this is what was meant. But I get your point ...
  20. I thought the Blessed was some sort of auto-pick for all the Marcus players? O.o
  21. Levi is still really powerful on the fringes of the battle due to his mobility and killiness. He can even do schemes far out. He can summon stuff, he's mobile and he can still kill stuff (just not everybody, in as little as two turns, like he used to be). And he brings a huge hiring pool. What more do you want? Seems legit to me, I'm still looking forward to be playing him again, and will enjoy the fact that I won't have to feel quite a dirty doing so ...
  22. Yes, and I did horrible, horrible things to people in melee. With Survivalist, I frequently had two attacks at and one at . Frequently, I didn't even need my third (or fourth, in case of Oathkeeper) AP because everything I could reach was dead. I don't understand why people keep arguing like the Channel cuddle only effects shooting?
  23. Yes, right on top of the food chain along with the Shadow Emissary, I'd say.
