if you want to go one step further with Ice Pillars, check out Gale Force 9, you have enough in there for 6 bases worth of ice pillars. As for Flame pillars, sadly not 3D, but i use Flame Pillar templates from Advanced Deployment. They make excellent wooden tokens for Malifaux as well.

Was a GW gamer since '99, but then they turned out to be the Nazi's of the gaming world, i escaped their grasp and then played Warmahordes. Stopped collecting warmahords at the right moment (when they went for the same pitfall as GW, "bigger is better" so battle wagons, colossals, etc.) I came across Malifaux at Salute 2012, wasn't a fan of the Macabre setting at first, but it was the mechanics of the game that really got me, but the biggest one is the use of playing cards instead of dice. That was a breath of fresh air. I then read the fluff and that was hook line and sinker. Over 12 masters and 3 henchmen later, i am now the aspiring puppet master my lgs loves today.

Nope, you can't "butterfly" blast damage onto a single model. Each model suffers one lot of blast damage. So if you have 2 or more blast templates on a single model, that model will only take damage as though it has been hit by one.

Any Henchmen going to Salute 2013 to demo Malifaux and/or Puppet Wars? My only reason for going to Salute this year (besides looking at all the cool stuff) is to purchase some Terraclips terrain (they did a deal last year, and i hope they do the same one this year!) and other Wyrd goodies! Just thought i might pop by, say hello, have a game, etc.

Any idea if Puppet Wars is going to be made for Vassal? I was also thinking the other day that Puppet Wars would be perfect for Tablets as well (i have an iPad). i can imagine it being a good game to play against an AI opponent or to connect and play against someone online. Plus speaking of tablets, is there any chance or sign of pdfs for Puppet Wars as well (just like the Malifaux Rulebook)?

I might be missing something here, it's about the cogs on the items. you have the example of the 4 peacebringers, one of each rarity, yet the only difference I see between the 4 of them is that the rarest peacebringer has the trigger happy trigger, And that each peacebringer has a different number of cogs on the bottom of their cards. Is that the number of shots that can be fired from the gun when you have found it or is it meant to show how much space it takes up in the backpack, etc?

I know we've had a couple of campaigns, mostly fighting over territories, but i was thinking of creating a campaign in which the models grow in stats/experience. I don't know if there has been threads about this, but has anyone written a rules system for such a campaign? I like the idea of minions getting experience and becoming more survivable skilled, getting cool injuries, etc. as they fight in the streets of Malifaux.

The guild autopsy has combat 0, yet the rusty sword ability states that puppets ripped by this puppet gains -1 powerful. besides using the ronin to give him +1 combat, is this just a typo , is there something I'm missing or is there some other way to give him combat?

Are you still giving out a blight counter on weak? I thought because you are dealt 0 Dg, you don't lose wounds and so you are not considered wounded for the purpose of giving a blight counter. So the big question is; are you wounded if you take 0 damage?

I'm thinking of starting a Hamelin crew, rather than going straight to Wayland Games, etc. If anyone who has a Hamelin crew they are thinking of selling, PM me (include what you have: Hamelin, Nix, etc.) I'm mostly looking within the UK.
