...and call Flying Frog Productions, and see about collaborating with them on a Malifaux expansion for Shadows of Brimstone. That game owns, and a Malifaux otherworld expansion for it would be too perfect.
In a book, you can arrange information in a way that's easier to use than you can on a smaller card. Plus, for me, M2e's card layout is just plain ugly and wasteful. Trying to cover the larger gaps with art made it even worse.
I'd prefer something that takes advantage of a book layout as opposed to a card layout. Besides, if it's just larger cards in the book, I'm going to feel like I'm buying them twice.
Man, I'm kinda torn about this one. I want a book, but not one that repeats the first book's card layout.
Now, throw in the new model rules plus some story encounters or variants, and that would be great.
Scale mismatching bugs people. You can't sweep away the aesthetics issue and ask that people solely look at this from a rules standpoint when you're asking people to buy your toy solders. Hell, aesthetics is why I haven't been recommending the $40 M2e rulebook to anyone.
