  1. I've been on a Ulix kick lately, so I'd imagine all the piggies would be baconized if that were the case. haha.
  2. I found roosters at hobby lobby that will just fit on a 40mm base. took the rider from the metal warpig that i converted into Old Major and slapped it on the rooster. havent painted it or anything because its just place holding till real riders come out. i did get a second rooster so i can field 2 riders, but the second doesnt have a rider . . .
  3. I came home the other day to realize I had fallen victim to a "bad kitty." The pigapult (and only the pigapult) was knocked onto the floor and broken into a million pieces (metal) The cat was nowhere to be found. she knew she had done wrong . . . I'm thinking some of the pieces have been played with as I still havent located them. Basically I'm not putting my pult on the table until i can locate the lost pieces and put it back together.
  4. I sleeve everything and put them in one of those clear plastic dragonshield boxes with the 4 sections. But I think I'm going to switch over to binder-dom as the box is beginning to become crowded and that is making it difficult to get the cards out of the box. may still use it for storage of cards i dont often use though.
  5. i was hoping for the same.
  6. If the wording is the same here as on the card for the trigger, then wouldn't you remove the curse before the damage is applied? (thus not take the extra damage from the curse).
  7. How does one build that which does not exist?
  8. alright, i can buy that. Basically the activating of a model and a model's activation are two separate terms.
  9. But if a model can do things at the beginning of its activation (reckless for example) and things refer to ending activations (paralyze, etc.), then wouldn't there be a distinct separation of 'activating model' and 'activated model'? basically shouldn't the tense of the word count. present tense vs. past tense. I see it as begin your activation, do all the stuff that happens during your activation (generate ap and the like), then end your activation. after all this a model is considered activated.
  10. I was playing gremlins VS. rezzers. Somer and Seamus. I had the win locked down (or so I thought) with a bayou with 1 wound sitting near two scheme markers. one was for protect territory and another was for plant evidence. Opponent had Bete near the other side of the table who hadnt yet activated. Seamus activates and shoots Bete to kill/bury her, then back allies close enough to shoot the bayou (using the shooting attack from the upgrade. cant remember the name.) and kills that popping Bete out who then moves down to pick up the plant evidence scheme marker. This 2 point swing was just enough to cost the game.
  11. anyone up for a game tonight around 7pm CST?

    Ophe help

when he grows up he's gonna be a real LaCroix!
  13. The trapper took some finaggling to get him blocked in a corner where he was not able to push out of. The A&D he really had bad flips for the 2-3 turns he was tied up for. Eventually did kill my skeeter turning it into an abomination.
  14. skeeters are awesome for that. tie up a model for a couple turns. I tied up a trapper and Ashes and Dust in one game with two skeeters. I dont even bother with Can-O-Beans anymore. I prefer my skeeters using Quit Screwin' Around and then Defensive Stance.
  15. Cooler than Gremlins?! Something doesn't add up . . .
  16. You could do the rat chain to keep up with the activations. Could also be fun to take Killjoy. Right after Somer summons his bayous you pop one off with a trapper which brings Killjoy out in the middle of his farm. position him in such a way that as many models as possible are in the black blood range so if he[opponent] tries to take care of Killjoy he is taking out his bayous.
  17. i'd say since its once per activation you could still only trigger it once. its not the warpigs activation, but it is AN activation.
  18. yup Ive done it before. Ulix's Shot in the Rear. free charge into something. kill it. heal up. free charge into something else. etc.
  19. yeah, i prefer metal flappy bags Zoraida over plastic underbite Zoraida.
  20. if I were playing gremlins in reconnoiter I would take Somer with Family tree for summoning bayous. If that is the case, taking out the slop hauler as soon as you can is even more important. typical Family tree build starts as: Somer Teeth Jones +Family Tree [2] Bayou Gremlin [3] Bayou Gremlin [3] Bayou Gremlin [3] Lenny [9] Slop Hauler [5] that would leave 25ss for other stuff depending in schemes. If you have something that can effectively deal with this core you'll be doing alright. Trappers taking out the slop hauler turn 1 is probably the best thing.
  21. Thanks! I've been looking forward to this one. While I didn't get any new information; I was able to pass this along to a friend who has been wanting to start playing Tara and he found it very informative. Do you have any other masters you plan on over-viewing? branching out of the Outcasts I'd like to see something on both Ironsides and Collodi.
