    So I noticed that Jack Daw can not choose the Creeping Terror (Tormented) Rare 1 upgrade in the crew building area. Is this correct?

    As a backer I am not angry or upset as much as disappointed. It's not to say I am not going to pout because I want my glorious minis and RPG. But I did back the RPG for the minis. Ok back to sulking. Hehe Stay on target Stay on target Stay ON TARGET.....

    I finished building two foamcore builings fir my Malifaux table. Sunday I had a fantastic 50SS Turf war game with my Hamelin crew versus the Good Doctor McMourning. 8-6 win for Hamelin! God I love playing Hamelin

    I had a chance to field Hamelin again. Anf I really must confess. Hamelin is a ton of fun to play. Of course it was pointed out to me to explore Hamelin with Lost keyword models since I haven't broken that boundary So possibly next weekend. One thing I did notice I struggled to get Blighted on models. Not like I wasn't getting Blighted out there. But just not in the amounts I thought possible while reading over the cards.

    I don't know if I can express how much I enjoyed this video batrep. James thank you so much for a short and concise batrep. I really liked the format used. Though the oy thing I found distracting was the subwindows opening to get scheme markers and the like. Perhaps that is just me. Over all I hope to encourage you to do more Malifaux Minute batreps!

    Keep the Rats Ausplosion. Ditch the Rat Catcher and hire the Obedient Wretch. By the end of turn 1 its possible to have a rat catcher summoned and or just keep the rat king. And just repeat the summoning process turn 2

    This is very extremely true. It takes 4 rats to make a Rat King

    Well if you're playing a friendly game it would be d!ckish of your opponent to use that argument to disallow you using the upgrade. Tournament play I understand its exclusion. But to be honest I have been using this list before the Blot the Sky upgrade and the Archer is a fantastic piece for this crew. Range. Doesn't randomize when firing into engagement. Blasts. Whats not to like?

    Recently I had an extremely fun game with Hamelin in a 50SS Turf War game. Here is my list Basic tactics used: Turn 1 Wretch tossed Rats at the Malifaux Rats creating 2 more rats. Rat activates creating a Rat King. Rat King sacrificed itself to make a Rat Catcher and a Rat. Hamelin moves up summons a Stolen Obeys the Wretch forward Twice The Stolen that started the game 2 actions itself into 2 rats. So on so forth. All this was fairly easy to achieve. But I will admit it was card intense. But hey. I had them and I used them. In turn two I had 2 rat catchers and a Rat king in play all for "free" Killjoy was doing his thing and the Ronin were having fun at others expense Overall I had a really fun time playing Hamelin and can't wait to do it again.

    I only use Yan Lo as a Ten Thunder and have yet to ever feel like I am a 1%'er. My crew is generally (@50SS) Yan Lo with his upgrades (depending on opponent) Soul Porter Toshiro (his upgrade, +1) Chiaki (her upgrade) Izamu (recalled training) 2x Onryo Thunder Archer. Obviously you have to juggle upgrades, but to be honest I rarely go for summoning Yan or Toshiro Misdirection, Blot the Sky and Recalled Training are my Upgrades of choice

    Looking forward to reading more. How thematic would you stay with a Hamelin crew? (IE: taking Ronin, Killjoy and Hannah) Are you best served to say thematic?
