  1. Golem looks good (though the blue head is somewhat strange...) but Vanessa...? C'mon you can really mean that?
  2. ah so you settled the date? i will talk to my players.... maybe some will come over... for myself i'm not sure...
  3. sadly.. i was there too and noted the lack of wyrd... as the world's biggest boardgame fair that was really a opportunity amiss... actually i would gladly do the convention for wyrd... but as you said... henchmen don't do retail... but i got some very nice terrain from the microartguys.. origninally for their stempunk game named wolsung... but it is more than fitting for malifuax! might post pics in my thread once it is done... but back to topic: i think puppetwars / evil baby orphanage etc. would have sold like hell besides malifaux there....
  4. jup. just impressive... i'm actually working on my Miss too right now... hopefully manage to finish her this week... and if i get lucky i can even pull of the big tree too!
  5. pretty straightforward and simple... but very very vulnerable for blasts... might consider canceling one of the sorrows for more ss or both of them for a second madness ^^
  6. why using the Hogwhisperer...? would rather take a slop hauler for the healing (at this SS rate thats really something powerful)
  7. Damn thee...! how the hell did you do that?
  8. it's from Renedra and the stuff is just awesome.. i'll try out their western buildings asap... hopefully i'll finish Graveyard 2 today...

    Advice needed

    totem and executioner? Austringers?
  10. Glückwunsch! Hoffe die Gemahlin ist auch bald wieder fit!
  11. So today no minis... but some easy terrain! the graveyard is part 1 of 3 altogether... Fences: Graveyard Part 1: Combined: more to come!
  12. really interested in those too! hurry up and get them painted
  13. You mixed that one up.. the Seamus Alternate is a refernce to bruce Campbell for the movie poster of "Army of darkness" (which itself is a reference to Starwars posters *g*)
  14. i like them actually! And i like the basing idea eaven more!
  15. well.. now i find myself in the unfortunate Position of wanting to do Graves or Lynch but having neither of them (and actually beeing quite broke, with lots of other stuff sitting on the desk so not gonna happen soon any time...) but for the next part i really look heavily forward to Yan Lo when he will be released! When he is as good and fun as tannen was i might have a new main master *g* but he is not to be seen on the horizon... so... better giving some paint to the other minis there... *looks at Lazarus and the Hangingtree*
  16. actually i worried about his flesh tones being too "healty" compared to the artwork firsst but then it somehow just worked... ^^
  17. Awesome... just awesome... might share how you painted the trees? i look at mine and can't decide how to do them "right"
  18. Thanks a lot! well it felt more like the mini just demanded certain coulours... but yup i am too most fond of him now and can't wait to get him on the table for a proper game!
  19. Well he was the first beeing assembled from my Order i recommend: dont clip away the round tags und his shoes! i used them as rods to pin him to the base! worked great.... Thanks a lot! I think the plastics really shine when given a good paintjob... whilst painting i noticed tons of detail i wouldn't have noticed otherwise... actually that's exactly what i tried to do ^^ painted him with his artwork from the new book next tto me... never did that before but it was quite fun trying to get the colours roughly right. Clothes are pretty easy actually... i use GW colours (mostly the old ones) Starting of with his shirt: after black priming painted it dawnstone. then mixed graveyard earth and dawnstone 50/50 and painted all but the deepest recesses... then started adding white to the mix making highlights in just 2 steps (the last one having reaally much white in the mixture...) The trousers and vest were made by basecolouring them in a mixture of black, Adeptus battlegrey and graveyard earth mixed in the same order in 20/40/40 then just added Graveyard twice for 2 steps of highlights. all done. actually in the artwork the vest seems slightly lighter than the trousers but i like the uniform touch and so stopped there...
  20. So up for Something really new: the first of my new plastic minis is done... took me just about 2,5 Hours so actually pretty fast.. had a blast painting him and really like the little bugger now... think i'll field him in the next game with my Pandora Crew! i went with the alternate arm supplied with the sprue holding a gamecard and decided it should be the 7 :masks as that's what he does need to get his (0) speel going! Hope you like him and i'm glad for C&C as always! More minis in my Painting Project (link in my Signature!)
