Misaki and her crew are not overly complicated, but they are tricky. Yamaziko is a must. So is 10T Brother. Given the right hand, Misaki will decapitate Von Schill quite easily. However, his crew has a lot of range that you need to get past. Your Torakage will be good for issuing ranged attacks and burning your opponent's control hand before Misaki jumps in for the kill. There are lots of models that you will want to add. You really aren't cuddled for selection. All that said, it is really too early to say whether Misaki will be strong in M2E which is mere months away. Players relying on current Henchmen for support of their masters will have to find new strategies. Misaki is not one of those Masters as she has all the 10T models in her hiring base that behave like Henchmen, even without the title.

Would I say no to free cards...probably not. Do I think it is a good idea, no. I don't even like the idea of sending my cards in and getting the replacements free. Things go wrong with the mail and I like having my models ready for a game whenever one could pop up. I'll be buying the 7 decks.

I'm going off of experience over 27 years of miniatures games. My plastic model versions of metal models have been easier on average for both assembly and travel. I do own every 10T master box and their boosters. They have not been a problem to assemble.

No, but showgirls would probably normally be working at her club. Lynch doesn't have a monopoly on woes. Molly doesn't have a monopoly on horrors. There are several leaders that can hire a specific type of model out of faction without paying +1. It would make sense for Colette. I would not like to see her as dual faction outcast because I really don't think she belongs there. Letting her buy any showgirl would prevent that. Although, it would give her Beckoners, too. That would be dirty.

Colette doesn't need to be Outcast. She just needs errata that she can take any showgirl at no extra cost.

I, for one, will gladly trade any of my unpainted metals for new plastics when they are released. I like having all my models with me and plastics are so much easier to assemble and transport safely.

We should probably reserve judgement until some of us have actually tested this next week.

As of yet, I have not played a single game on Vassal. Given the nature of beta testing, Vassal would be a good format to test with, IF it was done by honest players who signed the NDA and didn't youtube the results. It would allow more games as Vassal is 24 hours and doesn't require two testers to meet in the same room... You can also pause games and you can forward screen captures directly to Wyrd. Is Wyrd going to allow Vassal? It would be a shame to learn it and find out both players have to be in the same room. Other testing I have done has been okay using software or screensharing to play games as long as all players in the game signed the agreement.

Personally, I would like to see a Red Joker defense be auto win, too. Currently, no model in the game can defend against a Perdita attack with a Red Joker attack flip and King soulstone flip (or vice versa.) Only a couple models can even negate the resulting damage. There would be more excitement to the game if a defender got a bone once in a while.

What I meant by the chain, was a 30 mm Harmless Armour chain (if link didn't kill harmless.)

You can do a prevention flip... If you let yourself reach 0 Wds, you are dead.

Link is a very powerful ability that can and would be abused if it didn't end harmless. (0) actions, in general, I would say no to. They are one-use actions for good reason. Colette, with your ideas above, would be almost unbeatable. Coryphee Duet would chain Showgirl Dummies around it and just smash everything.

I sometimes wish I could field the minion Misaki as the master. I love her abilities.

Yan Lo is pretty reasonable to have a fun flexible crew pool. Masters of the Path Izamu Toshiro Yin Night Terrors or other cheap minion blister for variance. I would even recommend Nicodem's box set after that to rob the Punk Zombies, etc...

Tokens and counters remain with the model as it dies.

I like the Guild pool better than the 10T pool. What I would really like is a Strongarm Suit, though. The Outcast pool is amazing.

No more bingo chips! The workbenches look really cool. I love the new puppets, as well. This set is a must buy for any Neverborn player, in my opinion.

Ressers have the best upgrade pool, in my opinion. Slow to Die on all your models is a pretty good start. Some masters don't have Slow to Die for a reason. From experience, playing against a McMourning who has Slow to Die and can summon a Rogue Necromancy on first turn is pretty unnerving.

Ideas are usually more ambitious than reality... unless you are Mako.
