If you want shooting for Ramos, take a look at Anna Lovelace, who doesnt randomise into combat, has rush of magic, min dg 3 etc

Yeah fire gamin are pretty nice. Wk5 is cool as well, gamin-wise. Make sure to not have your rider stand beside the fire and ice gamins though I accidentally did that once.

I often took Arcane Reservoir, seize the day when it came out, and nothing else on Ramos. Maybe Under Pressure if I'm nervous about ressers or neverborn casts. Although I can definitely see reasons for taking the other upgrades as well. It's just that I often think Reservoir is enough. The companion from Combat Mechanic is sweet, and I sometimes take that.

I agree. And I Personally almost never go without Cassandra. She's just so good! But in some situations, sure. I've only tried the Coryphee Duet once, having been entirely in the Miss Step camp when playing Colette this edition. But I should really try the Coryphee more. Any tips on how to play them and when?

I faced a pretty cool crew with Marcus, Snow Storm (they, not a he, btw) and Ice Golem, for a hard hitting duo, with snow storm dragging ice golem into base contact to then burn fast and smash and stuff. It was a bit gimmicky and perhaps not super good, but could be shocking in some situaton. Snow Storm are a very specialised hench, as people have said. They could make a nasty Howard Langston missile in a Raspy crew. Wonder why people don't do that ^^ Or maybe they do.
