  1. I wasn't interested in this set before but you've done such a great job on it I feel compelled to grab it when next available!
  2. Hello. Looking to start Malifaux with Ressers and Ten Thunders. I was wondering if there is a particular crew box that would suit a new player? Or is it a case of just buy whatever looks cool to me? Due to my interest in the above two factions, I was thinking about Kirari, but a friend mentioned Seamus as generally a good jumping off point. Cheers.
  3. Every time I look at the time now I hear the 24 'countdown' tune. ?
  4. I'm fairly confident that Wyrd want this game to be different to Malifaux. There are common elements, of course. But those asking for this to work as a skirmish game may be disappointed .
  5. Ah...that would be their... ...Cab-BOOM-shtick. ..
  6. Shaken tokens might be valuable for CM - I believe that's what Aaron is hinting at.
  7. Flat terrain is a thing now. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it does save balancing models (or unit bases) in a precarious manner. For folks that are drawn into preassembled armies would flat, pre-printed terrain be ano the plus?
  8. I do love the up-gunned ED-209!
  9. @JDAntoine The game is played on a six by four board. (From the ToS page under game play. ) I suspect that the table size and ''light scattered terrain'' are to allow us to manoeuvre the multi-model bases around. I second the comment on the King's Empire models looking a bit long in the leg and arm department. That seems to be the case when looking at the art ompared to any if Wyrd''s models, though. The humans often look a bit spindly to me.
  10. @AaronYou answered my question. Thank you. ☺
  11. Interoragtive: We saw a couple of CBM models earlier in the year. Were they 'production' models or resin 'masters'? I ask because coming from PP I am a little leary of PVC.
  12. Thank you for the video. This cements the King's Empire as my go to faction. Maybe CBM as a second. The sample cards seem to show that Wyrd want to see the armies working on the table in accordance to their fluff - e.g. GIB's not only getting to recycle models but move them double distance when they do (so that they can actually get back to the fight) I'm going to scrape together some cash for this but I really, really need to see production samples of at least one or two models before I put too much into this. I have seen a couple of CBM models but I think they were resin masters. (I would be very happy to be corrected on that.) Resin Masters, Renders and concept art are analogous to "Lies, Damned lies and statistics." In my opinion. But this does look very interesting. I am quite dumbfounded that there isn't more interest in this already!?!
  13. Or...you're backing the wrong Kickstarters...
  14. There are a fair few games that use six by four. Even for games like Warm aching, the extra side space is handy to put stuff on. Most gaming stores I have been to have those. Only the ones that are really tight on space have four by four.
  15. I am strongly leaning towards the King''s Empire. love the aesthetic and we get to show a stiff upper lip in the face of eldritch horrors. The other three factions I feel we have seen before but it will be interesting to see what twists and turns Wyrd throws into the mix.
  16. I'm actually quite tempted by this. I never quite 'got' Malifaux despite the epic patience and legendary enthusiasm of our local Henchmen. But I really like the art of these factions and am hoping it is different enough in terms of play style.
  17. In the 'free models if you spend over $XXX' bit am I correct the Perdita is the model on the left? Our local club is doing a ToWG next year - I was toying with the idea of Guild but the new boxes look fantastic so I'm definately in!!!
  18. Seamus - I'm just starting out and he was recommended as a good Resser for Dummies. And he has a big top hat.
  19. Ah, Mr Bond...I've been expecting you...

  20. Pray we dont' take you alive! I haven't foresworn GW. I will be spending a couple of hundred quid on this easily.
  21. Yeah, I like the look of the figure. Much more dynamic (and IMHO better sculpted). I'd convert her to be standing on the ground and use the spirits for something else. My alt alt model would be the Feebooter Sister of Mercy converted to be wearing a straitjacket. I think the idea of Pandy being a little crazy - or pretending to be - could be a fun concept.
