Every time Malifaux starts to feel "Meh" to me, they do something like this and I am pulled right back in. While I will miss some of these masters having the spotlight, I am so excited to see what you have in store for us.

Is there any chance that we will see something for "The Other Side" even if we cant buy it?

I hate to tell you this but if you want to play miniature games than you have to make peace with buying updated info when a new edition comes out, GW does codex's, PIP does faction decks, malifaux does faction decks. I would like to also point out that comparing an $8 balanced faction deck to a $40+ unbalanced codex is not fair

Yea I have been trying for years to work my way up to his level... every time I get closer he says "hey i found a new method that works better, get ready to learn cause Ive already mastered it"

I love everything but Seamus in his box, so I am for sure to get it. Seamus for me is just an attachment thing, I love my crazy lil guy. For that matter though, I thing Wyrd is doing a great job of giving us a variety of poses and styles to play our guys in. The new models are making me get the cult of dec and probably Lady J. Oh and of course i must get the new Vikkies. Overall Great job. My only request is if they could stop doing that thing where they make me broke all the time..... that is the only thing I dont like.

I will just be glad to see posts again where people can be friendly *happy*

I would love to see a special forces book, but a Tyrants book would also be pretty awesome I think. Don't forget that when the 10t book came out they said that the story for the other masters we know and love would be presented in a different way later on....Still waiting for that, which could also clue us in on what book 5 has to offer

TBH i do tend to skip the pink posts because my eyes start to bleed after the 1st paragraph, lol

I picked up everything new at gencon. This includes ordering the arcanist and 10 thunders box online while there. With that said, some models, no they aren't as good as we have seen in the past. However overall I have had a great experience with these plastics so far. My only gripe is with the nightmare tree this year, only because mine doesn't fit inside its core roots well enough and i have to green stuff a huge chunk of the tree, though upside it is taller. Also the ropes snap easily, though that is to be expected with something so tiny in plastic. There will always be something to dislike about a product, no one and nothing is perfect. You have to take the good with the bad. However I would advise opening the miss terious box and checking her out, I have yet to see one of her that i didn't think had great detail.

The nightmare models are legal models that have been released. They are still Height 2.

very first game with her, right after last years gencon. My friend who went with me was proxying his snowstorm. I said "whats that model again?" "Snowstorm" he says. "Is he expensive?" i ask. ".....yes" he reply's "hey look, two books, hes a manikin" ah Colette, making sure your opponents done know what their new models do since gencon 2011

You should post your Ramos crew if you haven't already, i know a lot of people would love to see it

Also with the sprues being used, all the new models come in box's so I dont know if we can any longer gleam info by if it says box or not.

she does play different and i wont start a who is better or worse argument, all i wanna say is give her a shot, proxy her if you want but give her at least 4 games before you send her to oblivion

So I think all the scenario changes were brilliant and should be used from here on out. The amount of terrain was better this year, though i did see a few boards where people had to change the way things worked because setup gave one player an extreme advantage, IE no door on one side of a huge building. I think calling the entire turn at time may have saved time but made the rounds way more stressful and made it way more noticeable and frustrating when an opponent was being overly slow. All in all though it was a great setup and with some tweeks it will be amazing in the future

I already said i was playing my rezzers so 1. Rezzers 2-4. people complaining that my rezzers are OP Seriously though i expect a wide spread of wins after last years gencon games

So you have heard it from many people already but here it is again. Ophelia is a beast, her entire crew is just amazing at damage output with long range and the ooh a girl, and auto ram ability is crazy, their alpha strike is again just an amazing ability on an already solid crew. Von schill and the friekorps are awesome at board control and negating some damage. He has a mini alpha strike but mostly von schill doesn't die if you know how to play him. Again we are talking about ranged damage output and the crew to be honest is just lots of fun with their mobility. Last but never ever least is the Vikkies. These were my first loves and the first crew i mastered. You bring the Vikkies, a student of conflict,Soul stones, a ronin, and whatever else fun things you want. The Vikkies create what I call their zone of death. You can use the student and vikkie the merc to get the sword mistress pretty much anywhere you want. She then has about a 5 inch zone of whirlwind death herself that she devistates if you have any masks. with fast, a double walk and sisters in spirit placement, plus the charge from the sword mistress its almost impossible for your opponent to hide. They need to minimize damage and counter. I love the outcasts as much as i do my rezzers and that's saying something!!!

Just remember there is a tactful way to approach the subject and then there is a way to make everything awkward. If you have an issue, you can politely say " wow that's epic, can I see that real fast". simply playing it cool can make all the difference, plus he may not be cheating, he may just have rules wrong, it happens to the best of us. To be fair on the triggers position as well, my friend cant get triggers to save his life and i can get them almost all the time, neither of us are cheating, its just how it happens sometimes. :Hiding_Puppet:
