What non-resser models do you use?

I've seen some talk around about a couple different Merc options. As I get in to the ressers I was wondering what options do you use that are not ressers? How often do you use them?

Von Schill and the convict gunslinger are the two main mercs I use, killjoy and jack daw are good too

Sue & Mctavish with a Nurse to gain reactivate & Shrug it off before they sacrifice.

Most of the time I manage fine without any mercs though

Desperate Merc with Seamus nets you a card, corpse and a heal between 4-8, and all that's after hes unleashed hell on the enemy. If you combine them with a nurse you get even more bang for your buck.

Hans can be amazing once you figure where to place him. With Nico you have undying wall that he can shoot through, and more importantly hit troops that try to avoid you. With Seamus at higher point levels combined with Bette you can sacrifice their entire crew or just make them discard their entire hand.

I use Convict from time to time, Sue with Nico and a Necrotic machine for some card draw fun. Von schill I have and don't use anymore in fun games and he's out of my tournament rotation this year. Taelyor just cause she's cool and works great when you run into someone bringing up constructs.

I use Ten Thunder Bros sometimes when I get Line in the Sand and Lazarus in Slaughter situations.

Hamelin and Sue, so far. Need to get the gunslinger, but I don't think he will play massively different to Sue.

Hamelin is great for certain Strategies and Schemes, such as 'Line in the Sand' where he can sit near one of the objectives near the board edge and 'pipers lure' targets off the board or try to make stuff 'insignificant'

I normally don't run mers, but when I do I find the gunslinger and desperate mercs a great add on. If I am playing guild, Larazus is helping out.

I find using ashes and dust with nico and a nurse can be very good times.

That all depends on the scheme and enemy, of course. Except Von Schill. I actually look at every combination of 10ss I put in my crews and ask the question, "Why are you not Von Schill?"
