ProdigalPunk
Alright, so we now know at least one new minion we are getting in the new Book. That being The Drowned. Anyone want to speculate???
CannibalBob
My guess is that it probably will not be a good swimmer.
CalmPlains
My guess is that it probably will not be a good swimmer. Bahahaha, pwned that Q. Ya I said it.
Hatchethead
Dead Doxy, too. I assume that's a new Book 3 minion; Dead Justice is a proxy/alt.
Lheugast
Well...drowned are usually bloated by corpse gas...and float. maybe we'll see a model with terrain passing skills (like shambling?) and a dmg effect by being wounded/killed. I could be wrong however and dont mind my terrible language...
Sliver Chocobo
Dead Doxy, too. I assume that's a new Book 3 minion; Dead Justice is a proxy/alt. So she will be a guild and resser and will she be a master or henchmen
Hatchethead
Yeah. Whatever she is, she sounds unique at the very least. Edited July 15, 2011 by Hatchethead
nerdelemental
Are the entire Mali fanbase still fixated on Dead Justice? Sheesh she gets a lot of attention! I sure hope she's in the next book's fluff!
Wodschow
Don't think Dead Justice will necessarily be unique.. Being a stand-in for another model in itself suggests otherwise I think, also 'Dead Doxy' sounds fairly generic (although so does the Riders and.. 'Lost Love', similar name there and they're unique). 'Dead Doxy' is probably a new type of Belle? No idea what the Drowned is, but don't sound particularly like 'Horrors', but really, could be anything (so could the Doxy btw). Useless speculations.. Yay.. Edit: Almost certain that she's not a Master (EricJ said no more Masters in the d6g interview) and don't think Henchman either (listed contents of Twisting Fates suggest otherwise (only Avatars and Minions)). Hookers
My guess is that it probably will not be a good swimmer. he is a great swimmer. just swimming with the fishes... if ya catch my drift bada bing bada boom
osoi
Well if the naming has anything to do with it could we see something similar but different to The Hanged?

'Dead Doxy' is probably a new type of Belle? I don't believe Dead Justice will be anything unique beyond an alternate sculpt for whatever Dead Doxy is. I think the recent GenCon Release thread puts the nail in that particular coffin. Dead Doxy, on the other hand, has the ring of a unique minion (if I'm guessing). But now that I mention it, the simple fact that she has an alternate sculpt in zombie LJ kind of puts the kiabosh on that ... New Belle is what leaps to mind, yeah. Yay! osoi
Doxy is a slang term for a whore so I would guess an other type of Belle

Hatchethead
I'm not sure whether you're agreeing with me, attempting to correct me or simply repeating what I said..? Um. Little from column A, little from column B. And C. I wasn't referring to Dead Justice when I mentioned "unique", moreso Dead Doxy, potentially as a unique minion ... but I can appreciate the confusion considering how the posts came down. I wasn't so much correcting you as clarifying my stance, which also required some repetition and general agreement (about new Belle, and middling enthusiasm for useless/fun speculation). So ... yeah. All of the above, really. Edited July 16, 2011 by Hatchethead
Buhallin
Drowned sound more like Crooked Men to me, just with a different means of their unfortunate end. Very curious to see what the end up being, I do like the sound of it.

Q'iq'el
In Malifaux The Drowned are simply fishmongers who have cut out the middle man and can go grab their produce directly from the water now.
Math Mathonwy
My guess is that their main role will be as debuffers dealing out slow.
Haystacks
I agree. I can't see them exploding Boomer style to be hoest. As a body in water bloats with water, not the gases and what not. i think they should have a really slow move though. What with them wearing concreate shoes and all. Slow works, maybe another tough minion? like a belle but tougher and with out the lure shannagans?
Lheugast
no, it does not ôO a corpse in the water wouldn't float by mere water. the high amount of corpsegas building up (especially at higher temperatures) brings the body up. but true, debuffing is an option, so is a typ of pinebox/burying effect => pulling the target down? that would probably only work with water terrain..who knows. Bigkid
I can't help thinking the Resurrectionists have enough debuffing, distracting and flippin' irritating stuff... We want stuff that floats into the middle of the enemy and blows a dirty great hole in their strategy!!!
Haystacks
I thaught a dead body floats because were just natrualy boyant(?). Exploding zombies do sound a bit OP, unless they didnt make counter. imagine a Nic' crew full of them. they run forward. blow up and then you raise the bodys.
