tadaka
Given just about any asian model could be painted in clay look what is going to be your proxy of choice
daniello_s
Good question. I want to try them with Levi (because why not?)
Fatesealer
Perry miniatures does a good job of samurai and ashigaru models. These might be especially suited for the terracotta treatment... https://www.google.ca/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.perry-miniatures.com%2Fimages%2Fsam%2Fsam%2023.jpg&psig=AFQjCNHI7UAlXe5whGUD-f1svniEfPxq2g&ust=1470933706322821&cad=rjt

OneLittleThunder
While we're at it, any ideas for a Yasunori proxy? I found this guy; the model's billed as a dwarf, but I think it kinda works... https://www.forlornhopegames.com/index.php/product/2874-armoured-dwarf-with-katana-mounted-on-ki-rin/category_pathway-19 My ambitions idea is to convert a Bunraku into a rider for the standing Kirin here: http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/shop/index.php/miniatures/stephanie-law-masterworks/kirin-x-2.html
Skitt_Happens
I think the dwarf is going to be too small - he's on a 25mm base, Yasunori will, I assume be on a 50mm base
tomjoad
These were what I found on my first pass looking for a proxy Yasunori. I'm still not convinced by any of them, though, so the search continues.

OneLittleThunder
And if you're looking for just the mount, they have an actual kirin (looks closer to the Wyrd art, if a bit spindly): http://shop.zenitminiatures.es/product.php?id_product=216

qoob
I'm not a professional regarding ancient asian mythology but maybe this little fella? http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/house-shael-han/30506-shael-han-fulung-devourer-box

I'm trying not to worry too much about sticking to the art. As long as it's a demon looking person with swords and either has wings, or is one a mount with wings, I'll take it under consideration. You can make it work on a 50, sort of. I've been using it as an Emissary proxy, and will probably mount a rider on it for Yasunori.

Well, the hair is good...but my main thoughts are that the Bunraku are relatively small figures, with swords, that I don't need 3 of. Tapdancer
Anybody have experience ordering from Zenit Miniatures ? couple of their oriental beasts look like they would do as proxies for Akaname the Oni poison minions.
Jude
I do a lot of cardstock modelling for terrain, so I just make standees out of the official artwork for proxies. They might not look as good as well done models but there also isn't any question in my opponents mind about what they are supposed to be. I'll post some pictures when I get home this afternoon. InvokeChaos
I second the Immortals from Hordes, Privateer Press. I play skorne, so easy peasy for me. As for Yasunori... I have a bunch of mounted 50mm base models from Warmachines/Hordes. I have Fenrir, who is this maniac on a horse with 2 swords. Which is kinda what I see Yasunori as... So it will work for me For reference:
OneLittleThunder
I found it hard to tell from the photos on the site, but the Terracotta Warriors that @Definitechoice linked above are very nicely done - lots of nice "cracked terracotta" detail in the sculpts. They're a little bit smaller than I'd like, but I'll happily field them until the real thing comes along. WIP photos: 333
Rathnard
This is my Terracotta Warrior: Lone Swordsman, with chunks cut out of him, bits of polyfiller (that stuff you use to seal cracks in walls) added and painted up appropriately. I also added a bit of foilage to the model itself since that seemed to make sense.
daniello_s
http://watchfulistudio.com/our-store/ancient-chinese-terracotta-warriors-5 Does anyone have spare one of those models? I wouldn't mind to but all 5 but shipping to Ireland is $19 so almost twice a price of models themselves Anyone please...
