  1. I can't see Freikorpsmann with better Ml than VS.
  2. Sooo gremlin scored 1, 14, 20, 24 and 26. NB scored 3, 19, 23, 25, 27 and 28. Quite worse than Gremlin, I supose them neither dominated. Only two Guild players, 4 and 15 (worse than the first and second gremlin). No domination here. Acanist achieved 5, 11, 12, 13 and 21. Four arcanist between first and second gremlin, but the best was fifth, and the rest out of top 10. It's not like arcanist sweeped the board. TT was 6, 7, 10 and 22. Resser 8, 9, 16, 17 and 18 It's almost like good players make the difference more than if they are playing with or without Gremlins.
  3. Not saying they are easy to kill, just that they are not considered specially tanky.
  4. Gremlins 7 - none (0) 6 - Mah, Ophelia, Somer, Ulix, Zipp (5) 5 - Zoraida, Brewmaster, Wong (3) 4 - none (0) The faction with the most masters with df above 5, also they have not df4 or 7. They are a little over the rest, but I doubt anybody considers them specially hard to kill. TT 7 - Asami (1) 6 - Misaki, Mei Feng, Shenlong (3) 5 - Lynch, Brewmaster, McCabe, Yan Lo (4) 4 - none (0) Another faction with very consistent df stats, no 4 df masters. Neverborn 7 - Lilith, Pandora (2) 6 - Lucius (1) 5 - Collodi, Lynch, Titania, Zoraida, (4) 4 - Dreamer (1) The only faction with more than one df 7 master (Pandora is in fact df 7), only have one master with df 6, so more than half of their choices are df 5 or less Outcast 7 - none (0) 6 - Misaki, Parker, Schill (3) 5 - Hamelin, Leve, Ashes, Tara (4) 4 - Jack (1) Three options with df 6 and the rest below that number. Arcanist: 7 - none (0) 6 - Colette, Kaeris, Mei Feng (3) 5 - Ironsides, Marcus, Sandeep (3) 4 - Ramos, Rasputina (2) Like Outcast, but worse changing one df 5 for one df 4 Resser 7 - none (0) 6 - Molly (1) 5 - McMourning, Yan Lo, Reva, Tara (4) 4 - Kirai, Nicodem, Seamus, (3) Just 1 master above df 5. Guild 7 - Perdita, (1) 6 - Lucius, Nellie, (2) 5 - McCabe, Lady J, McMourning, (3) 4 - Sonnia (1) 3 - Hoffman* (1) Here, I hardly would consider Hoffman with df 3, since himself can put him on df 6 very easily. This would mean that Guild are, side by side with TT and Gremlins, the only factions with at least half of their masters with df over 5. Also are, with TT and NB, the only faction with some df 7 master. Not counting Santiago, of course. That complaint about Guild defense is one of the funniest I’ve read. Not counting that there’s many things that improve the survivability of one model out of its df. Leveticus and Hamelin are almost unkillable with their df 5.
  5. I'm also very surprised not to see a cost drop on "Paid in Blood", since I've never seen anybody use it (out of me) and "Warped Reality" is quite better and cheaper.
  6. Sorry, yes I meant push. And the menace is a Tactical action, and is a simple duel. I think a horror duel worth a 7, you could force your opponent to spend a high card.
  7. Bayou 2 Cards is awesome, since it's a second chance for everiy flip you make without spend your hand. I feel that both 3 (Guild Guard, Desperate Merc and Bayou Gremlin) are quite equal. IMHO the Guild Guard is a little bit above, since it can have Def 6 and is harder than the other 2 and better scheming (with the push) and can force the enemy to pass Horror duels while moving. In the other side, it's a little bit worse attacking than the other 2. The Desperate Merc is quite solid (for 3ss) offensively, with the better damage tracks, positives when wounded and the possibility of make 4 attacks each activation. To be disguised is a buff, and the chance of recover 1ss when dies (making him a 2ss model) is simply awesome. The Bayou Gremlin has better range than the Desperate Merc and, while less reliable, has some advantages like attacks in a 3ss model or a very good damage track (that hurts you), but also pushing yourself can help to shoot-push-interact. It's the worst model in close combat, but has a trigger on def that push you and puts you away of your opponent reach. Also, the 2 Card Bayou makes this model better both attacking and defending (or making horror duels, or any other kind of flip)
  8. Ok, just read the action. Non friendly leaders unless Freikorps.
  9. But Hannah can also copy Sisters in Fury from Ashes don't?
  10. No I don't suggest to gain what they lost. Pigapult has, in fact, 24" range and ignores LoS and cover. I was suggesting to NERF that, and take out that huge range and LoS ignoration unless it focus.
  11. It would have been easier to decrease its cost to 4ss if Wyrd wanted to go in that direction.
  12. Why bury Alyce when you can give reactivation to laz, the bury him and then heal with void wretch? Just read Alyce action, nevermind...
  13. Don't know exactly what you mean. I've never played against them, but I've seen them in play and never felt that were better than the Pigapult. The Pigapult in fact has now 24" range and ignores LoS and cover with higher damage spread, I'm just thinking about a way to mitigate the unavoidability of this (and in fact buffing a little bit our grenade launcher, but that's the Outcast subforum xD)
  14. I would made like the sniper rifles, range 12"(or 14", 16"...) that, with focus, doubles range AND ignores LoS (not cover). Or maybe range 24" and focus needed to ignore LoS, but rabge keeps being the same. This could be also for Lazarus's grenade launcher
  15. In my APP, Pigapult has Sh 6, so it has the advantage. EDIT: and also are killing 14ss, not 8ss
  16. Yes, I know my opponent had luck and play bad (not cheat), so not 2 Trapper each turn. But 1 Trapper or Librarian each turn easily still sound pretty tough to me.
  17. The first shot flipped two severes. In one of the other cheated a moderate (still didn't kbow he couldn't) schill was previously suffered 3 wounds, (I think it was Ophelia) and Francois made me 10 in one attack (I prevented 1 with ss). In the second turn Strongarm charged Ophelia and she run away and shoot him a little bit before the Pigapult finished him. The worst was the feeling of "you can run, but you can't hide" and the xtreme area of threat that means a Pigapult hiding behind cover.
  18. The Pigapult gave to me the most NPE experience in my playing game (no matter the game). 1st turn killed my 2 Trappers (and Francois killed Von Schill), in the decond turn it killed Strongarm and I quit. Not absolutely agree with the Stuffed nerf (somebody gave an excellent idea to fix them by giving a Ability that allows the opponent to pass an activation after you activated a Stuffed Piglet), but then the pigapult should have another kind of nerf, since it was too powerfull and unavoidable.
  19. FAQ AND ERRATA https://www.wyrd-games.net/malifaux-faq-errata I understand the Gremlin complaints about nerfs, while the Trapper's one have hitted hard in mi list building (I almost always play full Freikorps, what means one Librarian, two Trappers and one Specialist the most usual, with one 10ss Freikorps and some cheaper model. Now, I can forget about my Trapper's painted metal mini, since I doubt I'll put again two together having also Hans for the same price.
  20. But doesn't count the ht 2 of Pandora?
  21. I think that the less nerfed has been A&D, since it keep doing the same ocupying the same niche. The Trapper has become a little bit situational, since he's no more a cheap reliable sniper to become an average one, with a in many cases better Hans costing the same (keep thinking that Hans should be more expensive than the Trapper). Johan has became from one of the best 6ss minis to one more 7ss one.
  22. There's any chance to know if it's gonna be again in stock in the future? I've been waitin about a year and still don't know anything.
  23. Agree, but I think they want to keep the Freikorps lists as "elite" with not many minis, so I suppose they will have some kind of errata in their rules to make them worth the 5ss.
  24. I've played plenty of games with Trapper, and I can sure you that, with sh 5, you can have all the you want. If your opponent doesn't want you to hit, the chances are against you. In my games the Trappers usually conditions my opponent deployment and movements, drain his hand of good cards or start doing damage to big-slow (def 5 or 4) enemies. They usually dies fast. I really don' t see them as 7ss models. Really not an issue. I'll move to Hans and other minis. Life continues (a little pissed off for buying and painting the metal Trapper for having two models... Now I'll never are gonna use two of them).
