I know it was drawn by a woman. And actually, it didn't "bother" me at all when I saw it at the beginning. But checking the messages, my opinion really changed: "Make me feel alive" "I'll open for you" It's a level of objectification that I didn't expect from this game. The people that knows me, knows that I'm the opposite side of "puritanism". But in a game with many strong and powerful female characters, I don't see the need of convert them into merely sexual objects, waiting to be satisfied by (or to satisfy) the men. There are differences between "Sexuality and eroticism" and Sexual objectification. If there are going to be sexual objectification, at least, it shouldn't be only in one way.

After seeing the text on the Saloon Deck, am I the only one that strongly dislikes and thinks that it looks too sexual? You're objectifying women as sexual objects. The Red Joker would be making a threesome with the Viks? And the old ugly is the Black Joker? I can imagine what most of the women would think if they see a guy using that deck in a game, and it's not pleasant (my own GF, that she got interested in the game and bought her own first faction was like "WTF is this shit?"). And yes, there are "worse things" in the Malifaux lore, like Seamus' story. But at least those stuff are "lore" compliant, this deck is pure fanservice. I know that, regarding how many likes the deck had, this comment is going to have a lot of negatives, but someone had to say it.

The issue for us (the concerned people) is not about Hans, is about ALL the renders they showed so far are super static. And yes, many M2E had really static posses, but you can see an evolution, specially in many models of the last years, you just need to check the last master's release in Ripples of Fate and compare them to the masters coming from the M1.5E.

More reasons to make a different sculpt this time 😜 I've been concern since the coming out of ToS. I was hoping that Malifaux kept its own sculpt quality, but looks like it's getting worse. The problem isn't this Hans, the problem is that all the miniatures they've shown (as far as I remember) are a bit simpler and much more static.

Is it only me, or the renders (and probably scultps) of the all new models are super-static? In M2E there were plenty of dynamism in many models. Are Malifaux miniatures going to be like this now? 😢

120% Agree. Which was the issue with the current sight system? With that new rule looks like people always will have to be measuring different distances to check if a miniature is in cover. You want to increase the "cover" range? Make something more simpler an as effective: Any miniature in (1", 1.5" or 2") of terrain counts in cover when is targeted by another miniature and any part of its base is hidden by the terrain.

Sometimes is just that they overperform really well for their point cost I like both options, love to have the cards in the table to easily check and to give my opponent all the information he needs about what he is facing, but I also like to open the app and think about new lists while waiting for the bus or sometimes to keep track of activations/points scored/damage...

That's exactly what I think. Refer to the comment I quoted before I'm still going to play Nicodem a lot, with my friends, in regular tournaments that TOs (a.k.a. the stores) allow them (if the playerbase wants to play with that rule, we are the customers, why it shouldn't be allowed?). I play to have fun, and I really like competitive, so I don't care not being able to play in narrative tournaments which could influence the lore with specific masters. I can play them with any of my other 6 masters ^^ I found painting pretty boring, don't have the skills and specially don't have the time to do it by myself. I prefer to invest my time for the hobby in playing or any other thing. I'm a bit concern about the card size, I think that increase the size is a huge mistake, especially if you do it only for the art. I am one of those (and my group of friends the same) who likes to have all the cards on one side of the table and be able to check everything or let my opponent read them carefully. Bigger cards only bring disadvantages (more expenses in form of sleeves, new transports bags, deck boxes...) and absolutely 0 practical advantages, only a minor visual one.

Well, GW is earning 4 times more money from AoS than from Warhammer Fantasy, it has 6 times more new players than Warhammer Fantasy, it's easier to start in AoS than in WHF, armies more balanced... I could keep going for a while, and for the record I like more the old WHF than AoS (I hated AoS until this v2.0), even tho I'm going to give AoS an opportunity with the new rules, even if they dismantled my old Wood Elves that I've been collecting for 14 years. All that I read for now, I like it. I'm still sceptic about how all this changes are materialized. For those people complaining about Nicodem/Lilith/Collodi. I bought Nicodem 3 months ago and paid for a pro painted of more than 70ss for making different playlist with him. I didn't have the time to use it a single time yet, and I'm not complaining about it. If you want to play those models, just talk to your TOs and ask them to allow the "Dead Man" masters, I can not see the problem. They're getting an update and could come back in the future.

When you guys need to hire someone who really hits hard within Parker's crew, what would you be your main options? I'm a bit stuck with that part, depending the crew and mission, sometimes I need someone that can kill strong stuff.

I'll move to Montréal in November, and I would like to play Malifaux there. Is there any Malifaux players here who live close to Montréal? Does anyone know a club or store? Thanks!

Great idea!

Plain text is always better, because it loads really fast. The Warroom app (for Warmachine and Hordes), in the previous version had the rules in plain text and it loaded them fast as hell (which, in my opinion, is what you want when you're playing, don't waste time for a image or pdf loading), now they switched to load a PDF from the rulebook with the rule you're looking for, and it takes centuries to load, display and navigate. Maybe plain text is more ugly, but it's more usable by far.

And with the rules in plain txt to search for them, like Paralyzed or Horror Duel
