  1. From looking at pictures of the model, it shouldnt be impossible to build a new leg from small balls of greenstuff and pieces of brass rod (or similar). As for the claw, same procedure as the leg and a blade made from plasticard might work.
  2. Since you want to move into another faction after the second master, Tara might be a good fit. She's dual faction with Ressers, where your Hanged could come in handy, plus there's additional Tormented models i Ressers which in turn adds to your Jack Daw crew. Tara also likes Death Marshalls, so she could be a way into Guild too. People with far more experience than me has given good advice on all the Outcast masters here: http://themostexcellentandawesomeforumever-wyrd.com/topic/114590-who-is-a-good-second-master-after-hamelin/?do=findComment&comment=918174
  3. How about Johan or The Captain with Bleeding Edge Tech to support the Ice Golem (and any Gamin nearby)?
  4. In hardcore the Strategy is always Turf War and the scheme is Assassinate, so holding the center, killing the assassinate target and procecting your own leader is all that matters. I've been tinkering with the following for a poison based crew: Sebastian with Transfusion Rafkin 2 Flesh Constructs I've considered dropping one of the flesh constructs for a Crooked man, which frees up a point for giving Rafkin Transfusion. Its not very resilient and condition removal hurts, but I'm thinking that there's too much poison going around to remove easily.
  5. I've been thinking about Ressers and the Henchman Hardcore format lately and there are plenty of minions and enforcers that look good, the minions mainly for survivability and the enforcers for damage output, but I think the henchmen themselves are less than inspiring. The Valedictorian and Toshiro both look pretty dangerous and resilient, but the rest are either focused on summoning or support, which I think makes them less suited for the format. What have people been running, both successfully and less so?
  6. The Rogue has to kill them right away or they'll hurt him bad and killing isnt always desireable with schemes and all. Izamu looks like he can tarpit them longer without killing them.
  7. Rotten Bells luring enemy models into Izamu with Unnerving aura, and possibly backed by the Graveyard Spirit, looks good on paper.
  8. Ikiryo is immune to Slow and Paralyzed, but couldnt you Paralyze Kirai (or other undead or living models) instead of doing damage, thus avoiding Ikiryo all together?
  9. I'd be careful with the toy trains, at least in europe. I've seen them in two sizes over here, one thats close to O scale (which fits Malifaux) and one thats about half that size (I think its HO scale?).
  10. From my perspective Wyrd miniatures are the most dynamic and true to scale miniatures* on the market at the moment, if the price for that is a few assembly issues, I'm OK with that. So far I havent encounteret anything that a tweezer and a little patience couldnt overcome. Thanks for the information and a huge thumps up for pushing the boundries in the pursuit of quality *yes, a certain Death Marshal and probably other models arent true to scale, but I think that has more to do with them being sculpted from a perspective (like the Watcher), than a compromise to make spearshafts double size to avoid breaks.
  11. Why not pick up the starter set, its made specifically for introducing new players to the game
  12. New player here, but I can imagine Seamus working fine without summoning Belles, but they are one of the cheapest and most effective (ca8) WP duel models in the faction and Seamus seems to thrive on the enemy failing WP duels.
  13. You sir, are a gentleman I'm going to have to book time at my local open workshop.
  14. I'm with you on the "the shoulder looks" off thing. It hurts the suspension of disbelief, when the fantastical creatures are too far outside the real world laws of nature/anatomy. The fluff and the art might support it, but to quote Monty Python "I may not know much about art, but I know what I like!"
  15. Your www.angrymojogames.com link links to this thread, not your website
  16. How about Mollys box (45), Kirais box (50), Izuma (18) and a box of Gaki (21)? I really wanted to squeeze in Datsue Ba but she's way too expensive
  17. Mollys box (45), Seamus' box (45), Yin (11), Killjoy (18), Punk Zombies (21) = 140
  18. I havent heard the podcast, but I'll check it out this weekend. I'm thinking that having Killjoy buried will make the enemy wary of killing the Crooligans, thus enabling them to use their Creepy aura.
  19. I see it as an insurance policy and try to weigh the risk vs the premium. With Pact (and similar opgrades) I think the the risk is too low to justify the cost.
  20. I hadnt thought of using Bag o' Tools, with the damage track on his gun Sinister Reputation just looks so much better especially with Red Chapel Killer. I was thinking of the Crooligan doing a walk action, placing a marker and then "Always on the Move" close to someone I want to Lure with a Rotten Belle. If Seamus is within 6" he gets healed (and with Sinister Reputation the target is now at -3) and his next target is lured out of combat with the Crooligan and closer to him. If the target has already activated it cant kill the Crooligan and Crooligan isnt threatening enough remove. I dont know if its worth the AP, the Belles Lure is strong enough that it doesnt really need the -1. It really came about trying to get the most use out of all the models in Molly and Seamus' boxes.
  21. I recently picked up the Seamus and Molly boxes and I've been thinking that Crooligans -1WP would stack nicely with Seamus, their From the Shadows is actually a boon here, as they can be where Seamus needs them turn 1. This is just theoryfaux, but on paper it looks solid.
  22. McMourning created the Rogue Necromancy, but in the resser fluff in the M2e rulebook Molly "borrowed" it when she rescued Seamus from sanitorium. It fits her theme of picking up strays and misfits where ever she goes.
  23. Johan can remove conditions, Taelor cant... apart from the hammer and being outcasts, they dont have much in common.
  24. When you say "themed" do you mean models that are thematic fluffwise or models with obvious synergies?
