So our local group decided to start a Malifaux campaign since its really picking up in the area, using the campaign standard rules from Shifting Loyalities Wondering what peoples thoughts are on strong 35SS groups. Has to be lead by a henchmen and their SS counts to the 35 total you can have. Also rule is you can take a max of 1 upgrade card in the whole group to start. Was thinking the following possible options. Doesn't have to be from the following so all ideas welcome. . You cant get a master til a lot later in the campaign so trying to build with strong henchmen. Current thoughts are... Neverborn 2 player starter (exact 35ss) Nekima+Starter guys in some combination and Nephilim Hannah with Freikorps guys Ten Thunders Ototo or Yama with Tokerage/archers/snipers I also have... Ironsides crew and gunsmiths Almost all of the resurrections line plus 3 masters n crew (nico, mcmourning, kiari) Raspys crew plus all in theme models for her

Building my swamp/train board using custom built terrain and the plast craft stuff. Anyone know where you can get cheap train track and maybe parts of a train that would be to scale?

So to piggyback on to this..id like to possibly start dreamer. I do have the 2 player starter if it helps for model options but nothing else. If I wanted to focus on chompy bits dreamer, what might be a standard all comers 50 points SS list?

Fences I dunno. and not sure on the ammount of crates you need but Plastcraft does hard resin sets of crates boxes and scater terrain specifically designed with malifaux

Is she in the shifting loyalties book? Also does she have a card in the campaign deck?

Not to rez this to badly, but I was thinking about a Freikorps force but not using the main man himself as I'm not a fan of the model. Where can you get Annas stat card?

Looking for those who purchased the swamp train sets. I bought the unpainted city pieces. I love them and they work so well. Decided to buy the little train hut of the colored terrain to see how it is. Stuff looks great and so easy to assemble. Only gripe is you need to paint the inside but that's easy. The big issue for me is the door and windows. How do you use them? Do you glue and paint them and call it done, or do you leave them out so you can actually use them in a game? How do you guys assemble them for your games?

Hi all, Some of us go into this game and love it. One guy in the group has Pandora. Maybe its just us being noobs but after about 8 games or so, he hasnt lost and even beats out perdetia army pretty well. Only two masters that I have seen atleast give her a challenge is Perdetia and Sonnia Criid with lots of witchlings. For now he uses just the starter still but will be adding more Sorrows and Littlu and Lelu soon, maybe a dopple ganger. IVe read that the best you can do is kill her army then focus her but by that time most armies are nearly dead from all the wp vs wp she does and makes you fail so our guys just loose wound after wound. Anything im missing about Pandora on how to beat her? ITs kind of to the point no one wants to play vs her because your forced to use Sonnia or Perdetia just to have a chance
