  1. Draugr has action to attach Soulbound upgrade. Soulbound upgrades are Resser upgrades, but action says: "ignoring usual restrictions for attaching upgrades". Does it mean that I can attach Ressers upgrades in Outcast crew? I know that thanks to this wording I can attach upgrades to minions, but does it also skip faction upgrades limits?
  2. Had friendly game. Used two upgrades in JD crew: - Sue gad return fire - Bishop had The bigger they are It was against Sommer and gremlin gun line. I really like upgrades. Mostly no one attacked Sue, low DF / WD gremlins were scared. At start of second turn one of bayou attacked Sue, I cheated crow in and killed him It's great upgrade, I think it will shine against summoners who tend to make many attacks and don't have cards to cheat so it will be easier to have crow Bishop was even bigger beast, It gave him one more dmg against every model he attacked. Also as @Fog it's great combo with Firing Injustice Can't wait to use new undead bandits, also want to check if they can have nice combo with Crooked Man and Gluttony (scheme markers dropping and taking dmg)
  3. Yes I know, also got many stupid/great ideas. One of them: take Bone Levi, Two belles, Bete Noire, Trapper and rest crew for schemes. Trapper is aiming to kill something in enemy deployment zone. Unbury Bete and make chaos. Belle lures meantime models that should be killed by Levi Enemy will have so much things to deal with at the same time, so should not finish schemes * only in Theory, so may be awful in real game
  4. Used specialist and Sue yesterday versus Nicodem. They are good to counter corpse markers. But both were bit slow. Sue is always good choice against Ressers ( to CA, so no easy lures from Belle). Specialist was too easy to kill, DF 4 is pain But my oponnent face when I removed his corpse markers, awww shame on me, I should take photo But from other news, I will start "Bone" path Levi. Metal Sybelle, and plastic Belles are on way, thinking about Doxy in long term any other things to buy?
  5. Was it good against summoners? In theory it gives you more activation control, hard to remove minion and at top of all helps with scheme markers
  6. Have anyone used MechRider with Levi?
  7. Go to http://bythetree.net/ Select Outcast > Levi > add Iron / Bone upgrade, see all models Not direct list, bu itt works
  8. Another look at this case, what killers you had in crew? I saw in some cases that JD crew may lack hitting power so it could be hard to kill KJ. Also Rusty with her "no charge zone" may be nice addition.
  9. Small update from my side. I own Levi, JD with some toys (some non outcast tormented models) and VS (but don't play him). Never used Specialist, outside JD crew he is too slow for me. Before he can targer Nicodem, i need at least 1 or 2 turns of only walking to sum up current ideas: - Focus on Bone Levi and get some Belles / Doxy to smash lurred summoner - Hamelin is good, but in some cases it can backfire at you (Kirai / Levi) Any other ideas? What about Viks and Iron Levi (Mech Rider, Hunters, Howard etc.)?
  10. Big Jake can be good in every crew. He will act as scheme runner. Of course you can take 4ss Void Wretch / Winged Plague who have other pros & cons. In Jack Daw crew in low points games he can be too much in 5ss scheme runners area, mostly you will use Guilty for that. Hans is not good. And I used nice words Could use more "hurting" ones. You will have 5 focused shots per game for 8ss. Mostly Hans will stay in deployment zone, you want to shot with focus, because he is missing built in so covers matter. Maybe in some games with nice shooting lanes he can shine, but otherwise I would take Sue / Librarian / Convict Gunslinger in his place You can use Big Jake in every crew. Hans may find his place in Jack Daw / Hamelin (helps him with move) and in all other crews if terrain is good.
  11. From time to time I have real big issues with summoners. Especially in stats and schemes where number of models may play big role. Also I have problems with Kirai in ALL stats and schemes. So far I found two good solutions to them, one is Levi with summoning upgrade on shooting attack and Lazarus. Levi picks easy to kill enemy models (low wounds etc.) and creates abominations and Lazarus drop blasts Second is Jack Daw with A&D. I use 0 AP obey from Jack to cast that DF test on A&D, mostly all ressers have lower DF so it's effective. Nurse / Jack Daw focuses on enemy master to stop summoning (only take walk actions, only take MI action, drop curse etc.). In some cases Jakuma lures stuff important for summoner, examples: Nicodem itself so he needs to take walk action to be in range to corpse markers or lure Flesh Construct away from Kirai etc. So here goes my questions: - are there nice counters to summoners in Iron / Bone Levi? I think that some Belles / doxy combo can work in similar way to Jakuma lures and Mech Rider can help with out activation. - Is Hamelin good idea? Are his rats good counter to summoning masters? - Are there any other masters in Outcast good against summoners? How do you play against summoners as outcast?
  12. Also Jack have many ways to attack enemy hand, so Horror duel on Wrath is also nice
  13. I saw McCabe with Dashel, so I think that also Guardsman should be added
  14. Also good idea I don't like matches against summoners, so it looks perfect to shut them down, two attacks (maybe they will drop some cards), than "Hands in the Air" and look how they do maximum 1 summoning
  15. Correct But it's still nice trick to have free 1AP when you want to.
  16. Never mind master. There is attack action to drop piano, I will repeat DROP PIANO! You liked pigapult? Now you can drop piano on enemy head
  17. Enemy scheme markers for free so additional trick is needed (Parker change scheme, or maybe some of his thematic models tricks).
  18. Okay, so where to start I don't know his upgrades, I think that they will play main role. I can only guess, that it will be something like Ophelia His known attack action is SH 6 , so ignores cover on default. Dmg track is weak as for killy master, but can be improved. I am more happy to see his trigger to drop enemy scheme markers. Why? It can easily counter enemy schemes, because they cannot be 4'' or 2'' close to each other (depending on scheme). I think that "Hands in the Air" can be great against summoners or support masters Imagine that Nicodem has no one in range to attack, and before anything he does, have to discard two cards! Push action is OK, but I think that in most cases I would prefer to use master for other things. If some upgrade will allow me to have some nice trigger on it (take attack action, focus, remove / place scheme marker etc.) it will be great. I think that Parker will juggle his amount of SS thanks to effigy and "Limited Supplies". Also he is natural counter to some Arcanist Showgirl and any master who likes to drop many scheme markers. For his crew, I like to see doctor card, I hope it's gremlin type of healing, so many models at the same time, not Librarian one
  19. @Aaron Also to make some things clear, I was asking about physical copies like in Arsenal deck.
  20. Great news, If you can give additional information it would be great I think that during Nythera event there was survey about model for each faction. Are there are other new cards? Generic upgrades, or maybe upgrade for each master? Thank you of course for help
  21. @Aaron Will any new cards (generic upgrades, models upgrades, errated cards etc) will be included in Wave 4th book - Ripples of Fate? Thanks in advance for help
  22. Good question! Point for you!
  23. Mech Rider has 0 AP action Ca: 6 / TN: 12 that summons arcanist 4 ss minion . Than summoned minion suffers 2 dmg. So from Turn 2 you can easily summon a minion each turn.
  24. Levi is still great as pure Outcast But in some cases you can improve your play, example Headhunter, Take 2 x Rotten Belle, Yin. Belles lure enemy model to you, kill it with Levi, pick head (mostly there is no enemy model who can run half table and pick up head) Yin act as scheme runner that is hard to remove (Horror test and to attack flips). You can bring heavy horror duels / WP attack crew to outcasts, when nobody supsects it Or heavy armored crew, also when no one prepared for that. It allows you to take models that exactly fits your need, more examples: - don't like Ronin, take SS miner against Arcanists - prefer scheme runner with leap, take NecroPunk - want Lure, take Belle For Iron Levi, I think Mech Rider + summoning is great combo, it helps in schemes where number of models counts (Outcast may have problems with some summoners in those). Edit: Also check this blog: http://fiftyshadesofleviandjack.blogspot.ie/
  25. Don't want to grab all masters. Don't have time to play them all I liked Levi and JD mechanic so got them. I think I have time for third master (Have VS but I don' play him) This question is great! "am I going to play Outcasts, or Leveticus?" Also my question may be solved after 4th book. Maybe other models will help to make decision
