If you can find it cheap or on sale, the GW woods (the one they made for Fantasy) works very well for this game. The trees come out of the base so you can check LOS and other things and when painted it looks good. While you do have the skulls on the ground, I think in Malifaux that is not a big issue. For me at least having the trees helps me to remember that it is dense terrain and I can not see through it, which I always forget about when games use the green felt to represent trees. My two cents at least.

So i wonder if Colette's crew is now more like her now and the performer artwork and render that was shown are the normal for the box.

Well I know if that artwork gets a model, I am keeping the Som'er box and starting a Gremlin crew so I can use a bunny rider. That way I can say things like "this rabbit is dynamite!" and "he is going to nimble your bumb!

I managed to have a couple of games with most of the minis so far and over all they do have a cohesive/complimentary appearance on the table. I really like what he did with them and it is nice to be playing with a fully painted crew.

Finally for now at least, the Totems, Scales and Luna. My McCabe model had a tragic encounter with my cat and a Spanish book so I am waiting for his edition two box to come out so I can get a new McCabe and the shiny new cards. Ideally my Lone Marshal and clockwork traps will come soon from the painter.

Hola! Due to a back log of infinity related figures I commissioned a local guy in area to paint my Malifaux minis. I dropped of my Guild figures with him and I got them back yesterday. I am very happy with how they turned out. In general I stuck with paint schemes close to the wyrd artwork as I do like what they did. Lady Justice as you will see I had her painted a little differently. I dropped my Ten Thunders and outcasts crew with him when I picked up the guild people so hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can up date this thread with their pictures. While I am not interested in owning most of the models whose artwork has come out, all of it looks really neat and makes me look forward to their releases and seeing them in other people's crews. I just want to know when the performer is getting released so I can grab one of those boxes.

Do we know if the performer model is going to be available at GenCon?

Huh I guess I will keep an eye out for when it comes out, I want that model, thematically wise it would look good with my Lucas McCabe crew.

Yeah I have a fair bit of the Sarissa wild west stuff and some micro art stuff, mainly the market stalls and the cottages, I have been thinking about getting a large building sometime this fall. I would agree with your assessment about the directions for micro arts, the warehouse while a little expensive is a great building as center piece for a table. If you want some good scatter terrain, 4ground another British company that you can find on ebay pretty regularly has a lot of cheap carts and wagons.

How do you like the large Micro arts building?

The performer could be used a regular civilian for lots of different games, I can't wait to see the final product.

As for the new guild guard, I wonder if the new Lucius box will have guild guard that look like the wave one cards or the new art work and this box is just a way to get some new styles of guild guard in? Just my ramblings.

So this was the best place I could think of to put it. I have recently got some Micro Arts studio and Sarissa terrain. But as I can not leave it at the game store and I can not have people over at my place, I need a way to store and transport it. As such I am looking around for some sort of tough, but portable container that will not be awkward to carry around. Also I need to be able to put foam in it so i can protect my terrain. I was curious to see if anyone else has had this issue and what solutions they might have come up with. When I find my camera I will post some pictures of what I have.
