So its the last 24hrs for this kickstarter and they have several ships now including a Ghost Ship. And for $15 add on to any medium or larger ship for three sets of sails to change up your ship. Plus there is a shipwreck pretty cheap

From Renassiance Miniatures "While we say that our models are "nominally" 28mm - we're aware that 'scale bloat' is a serious problem here! In most cases, doorways and such are sized to make 32mm tall figurines look like tall (but not impossible) humans in 28mm scale. However, 35mm is definitely pushing it! In 1"=5' systems, we have 1:60th scale. So a 35mm tall person is 2.1 meters tall - which is 6'11". People who are that tall have to duck to get through doorways!" Well I heard they will likely add the East Asian stuff in August in their web store (you can already get the Medieval stuff there) after this KS is over. Me personally have been in all three. I got the huge Well Oiled Scabbard, Tea House and Junk, and going for the Caribbean Island. Personally want to make a sin city port of call with the Spanish House, Tea House WOS tavern, Salty Dog, and Dragon Drop Inn. Maybe add a few things like a ship later.

Renaissance Miniatures has launched their third KS (actually 4th but first was for doll house), called Ships, Pirates, and WildWest terrain for 28mm gamers found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/renaissanceminiature/ships-pirates-and-wildwest-terrain-for-28mm-gamers This company has already done two other successful KS to launch their Medieval Village and East Asian Village both of which can look good in a game of Malfaux, but this one fit the best of all with this setting. They have got both their lasers up (funded by the previous KS) and this KS is more to help launch a rather large line. Its already funded so here is some pics: -ape2020

Well for the final week they just added a large junk that is very impressive and I thought some here might be interested. It's a gigantic model - 20" from stem to stern - a 100' ship in 28mm scale! The main mast towers 13" above the waterline and the beam is 5" at the widest point. Comes with a "dry dock" to help assemble it and like most other models comes pre-painted. Of course it rather easy to repaint if you so desire. This shot shows that you can remove the roof of the main cabin and the hatch down into the hold. You can also remove the roof from the sail/rope storage area in the stern: Soon they will be adding the fishing village but even now you can get the peasant village, docks, and these small ships. Just unlocked the fishing village so I thought I would update this post instead of making a new one. The look actually works for more then just Asian style settings and should work well for Malifaux slum dock areas. -ape2020

East Asian Village for 28mm Gamers KS just revealed the rapidly approaching $35K stretch goal and its new Japanese style wall/gate, new buildings, exclusive figure, and soon a new pledge level: The Peasant Village. Includes: 1 Peasant House, 1 Swordsmith's house, 1 Overseer's house, 1 Potter's house, Enough fence pieces to surround the village - 17 panels (only 8 illustrated above) and a Tori-gateway. They add the a new building Dojo! It will be free to all Magnificate Village pledge and for a limited number $40 then goes up to $60. Yeah Renessance Miniatures is really nice and soon they will have their Medieval Village line (from their first KS) up for sale on their web site. Both these lines use the same modular system and so you could mix walls and roofs with each system. I got the Tavern and Inn but haven't put them together yet since I was going to a con. But the Tavern is like 16"x16" and two levels, while the pagoda has seven floors and will be 18" tall If I remember right. Here is the Well Oiled Tavern. I think this and the other big building in the Medieval Village line would work well with Malfaux. -ape2020

Hey I thought these buildings would be perfect for all you 10Thunders players out there to for terrain. The buildings are very nice and it includes a seven story flagship pagoda! Built for 28mm gamers, these are modular units - so you can pull them apart and reassemble them into different buildings. You can remove the roof to see inside the upper floor, remove the upper floor to see the ground floor. We're aware that a village is a lot more than just buildings - so we're gradually creating a strong line of accessories - anything you might find in a typical village." They also are going to open up their webstore for there Medieval Village line that was their first KS. I've gotten many building form that set and it has been confirmed that they are compatible with this new set so you can mix and match roofs and walls.
