  1. Well Yin is the Malaysian version of a vampire, the Penanggalan Yan Lo is Chinese I believe and may be a Jiang Shi Though we don't have the common European vampire.
  2. Actually, Bete is just undead, not a spirit at all.
  3. Sorry, just got my Under Quarantine book last week and was think of the Medium (who also makes you a Spirit). Everything else I said is correct though (as far as the spirit and undead keywords being completely independent things.. Just replace the word Revenant with the word Medium in my post .
  4. True. Though instead I would say hes more of a Kōryū. Ideally I would like the other three to be in the same anthropomorphic style of Genbu, and the emissary is not that. I would think something more along the lines of Onaga from Mortal Kombat or Shendu from Jackie Chan Adventures.
  5. In Malifaux and by extension TTB, Spirit and Undead are two different things. You can be one without the other. A Fated Revenant will have the Living keywords Spirit keywords. A Stitched Revenant will instead have the Undead and Spirit keywords. An Invested Revenant will have the Construct and Spirit keywords and sometimes have the Living Keyword in addition to those (needs an 11, 12, or 13 Tomes in the body position).
  6. Masters and Henchmen both have a Cache of Soulstones can be used during the game ONLY if they are the leading model of your crew. In your case Vic of Ashes is leading so you get her Cache. You cannot spend these stones on crew construction. Any Soulstones out of your 50 which you do not spend are added to your Cache to use in game. Your Cache + your unspent stones added together are reffered to as your Soulstone Pool. Your Pool cannot exceed 7 regardless of how many points you did not spend or how big your cache is.
  7. Well, a few members of your group could get together and split the cost of a Generalist Upgrade deck accordingly. Option 2 would be to purchase both Outcast Arsenal decks. Option 3 would be to get the big books and photo copy the cards out of there (photo copies are tournament legal).
  8. This month we will be running 4 Through the Breach sessions in lieu of our usual table top Malifaux league. The dates this will be held are as follows: 6/29 7/6 7/13 7/20 Each session will begin at 3PM and run for roughly 2-4 hours. There will be room for up to 8 players per session. Premade characters will be provided, however you must bring your own fate/card deck (I only have so many). There is a $5 entry fee. This will get you into all 4 sessions. There will also be a prize and guilders given out after the final session. Demos and free play will still be available during these days (before and after the RPG sessions in the case of demos). Malifaux league play will resume in August. For more info on Demos, see this thread: Coliseum Demo Thread Coliseum of Comics 2511 Old Vineland Rd. Kissimmee, FL 34746 407-870-5322
  9. Would rather see a dark twisted version of Oberon fill that slot with Puck as a totem.
  10. Seiryū Suzaku Byakko and possibly Kōryū to go along with Genbu. Possibly as alternates of the other Ancestor models.
  11. Ya, archers were done in Wave 1, but Blot was not made until wave 2. You can either hunt down a wave 2 Arsenal deck, or get a generic upgrade pack to get one.
  12. There is at least one 3 player (and a 4 player) mission in the Schemes and Strategies deck. There are also a few included in the story encounters books (Brotherhood of the Rat, Crossroads 7, ect). Also, if any of you are playing a summoner, they will have a pretty substantial advantage at 30ss.
  13. If the poll resulted in a tie and it were up to me, I would say that the Outcats and Arcanists cancel each other out and reveal the Guild master instead.
  14. Its even better if you go up against a Yan Lo crew since hes Lo Pan.
  15. The full artwork for the Jorogumo has 8 legs. 2 of them are just obscured (you can barely make out a 4 one near the bottom right of the body) by the angle and cropping of the box art.
  16. That would be the 1st time we have had more than 1 50mm model in a box if I am not mistaken. Having 3 is just awesome.
  17. Jorogumo re due out in July according to the upcoming page. http://www.wyrd-games.net/upcoming-releases Well, they showed off the render of all the Emissaries on Monday previews. As far as when they are coming out: Brutal and Hodgepodge in July. Carrion and Lucky in August. Arcane in September.
  18. Memorial Day in the US. Yay for the Oni master.
  19. Ramos is taking notes from Dr. Robotnik?
  20. I hope Titana box also has an Oberon and a Puck. I am hoping for more Oni and really hope the TT master is Oni. Also (on a not necessarily wave 4 note), I want to see the other 3 sacred beasts to go alongside Genbu. Well, wave 3 was pretty small, with only 5 models per faction outside the starter box figures. Then we have TOS coming eventually. So I think slower Malifaux releases are more likely.
  21. We are starting up our new league next week. Details can be found here: May 2016 League Thread I will continue to be available on Wednesdays for demos. However one of my players is attempting to get traction at the shop on Saturdays (hard for me to make it on Weekends). As of now he is running Demos but might look into expanding into leagues and tournaments separate from our Wednesday events. If you happen to be a Coliseum of Comics on a Saturday and want to know about Malifaux (or just want to pick up a game), ask for Troy.
  22. Hello everyone. I am pleased to announce our next Malifaux League of 2016 here at Coliseum of Comics. This will be a 4 week long, 50ss, fixed faction league. The entrance fee is optional. 23. Just throwing in that I don't think Wyrd is 100% opposed to errataing existing models. Actually they did a pretty significant errata to metal gamin no too long ago. I do however think the errata is the last ditch thing Wyrd want to use to fix things, and upgrades are the preferred method.
  24. It works for Warmachine which releases things in a similar manner to Wyrd. When they switched from 1st to 2nd, they released a big core book with roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the models from all factions as well and arsenal decks of their own (different name though) for each faction to upgrade players to the new edition. This is exactly the same thing Wyrd did. However they also released soft and hard back versions of books for each faction. They release an expansion each year that adds to all the factions. Yes, those books that launched at the start no longer contain absolutely everything, however they still sell because they are a great resource for people interested in those factions. When 3rd edition drops in a couple months, they seem set to start the process anew with the faction books now containing everything added in the expansions since their release. Now this does not automatically mean that this will work for Wyrd. But Warmachine proves that such a way of releasing things does not invalidate it.
  25. Cool. These Night Terrors are kind of rough, especially figuring out where they mount to the pillars. I have no idea how to assemble Night Terror Bs pillar.
