  1. Well, there are also a hand full of units that are 2 fireteams of 3.
  2. Holiday madness is over and I am back home. Come on down to Coliseum of Comics on Wednesdays if you are interested in Malifaux demos or a friendly game with one of our players.
  3. Well, holiday madness is over, I am back home, and my mother is out of the hospital. That means its time to get back on track with events. I have decided to make the first event of 2017 at Coliseum of Comics a TTB adventure. We will be holding our session on Wednesdays at 3PM on the following dates: 1/18 1/25 2/1 2/8 I have a collection of premade characters for these sessions so that we can jump right into the action. Spots are limited to maintain everyone's remaining sanity however. Also, be sure to swing by for some Malifaux demos some time if you are interested. Further details can be found here: Coliseum of Comics 2511 Old Vineland Rd. Kissimmee, FL 34746 407-870-5322
  4. Might do a double commander for Abyssinia and Hordes. I think that will be cool for demos. Will also probably get a box of KE from my LGS (they are giving me an amazing deal since I will be running demos).
  5. Aaron stated somewhere deep in the KS comments section that there were plans for a 2 player starter at one point, but they were scrapped. There are no plans for one at present.
  6. You could pledge $198 and get 2x Champion level kits ($350 MSRP btw). You get 2 Allegiance boxes and 2 rule books and save $100 not getting the titans.

  8. Honestly Kickstarter is one of the best things to happen for the miniatures game and indie games market. Too many awesome things out there right now would likely not exist without KS. There has been some abuse (MN9 being just the most famous, but far from the worst example). Shenmue was a bit shady since they apparently had corporate backing before they launched their KS, Bloodstained on the other hand received that backing near the end of its campaign, long after it had been deemed a massive success. In Wyrds case, they are at the end of the day still a very small company. KS helps to alleviate risk, measure interest, and speed up early production so that we as players have more choices from the get go.
  9. Same thing happens in Malifaux when Illuminated become Depleted. Something similar also happens in the old fluff of a certain fantasy wargame from a certain other company.

  11. Well, the pictures show 3 of them on a single 80mm base, which means 9 guys on 3 80 mm bases make a squad. That also means Infiltrators will be sold as either 3 man or 9 man (3 each of 3 sculpts) boxes, probably depending on whether a fireteam or a squad is the minimum field allowance.
  12. The Hanged ropes. Yan Los beard. Goryo...everything Goryo. The Dreamers little friend.
  13. Which would make since since they have been using soulstones MUCH longer than anyone else, and on top of that were relatively untouched by the Black Powder Wars and the Guild. They have long had access to powers everyone else has sought for themselves, and nothing but time with which to figure them out.
  14. Malifaux launched with 5. Dropzone commander has 4. Warmachine launched with 4. X-Wing and Star Wars Armada launched with 2. X Wing players complained when the 3rd faction was introduced, and Armada players constantly complain about the possibility of another faction appearing. I think 4 is fine at launch. More can always be added later.
  15. I have 3 people (by the names of Erik, Jason, and Tim) who should be there next week. They apparently all had things going on this week. There are two other Malifaux players (Damian and Troy), but they have long periods of time where they can't make it due to complications with old injuries (both ex-military). And then I (Josh) am sitting by as a ringer of course. Honestly, I have been working on trying to rebuild our group after losing our 4 biggest players (Ray, other Josh, Richard, and Joven) all at once due to work schedule changes. And its been pretty slow going unfortunately. Though I can completely understand wanting to be absolutely sure that you will have a game, given that you are coming all the way from Winter Haven. I suppose you could always call the store to make sure someone is there before you make the trip. 407-870-5322
  16. The ability to field any number of Undead models (including those outside the Resser faction) with any number of Outcasts.
  17. Sorry about the extra time it has taken to answer. Unfortunately I am going to have to say no on partially painted models counting. Only models painted in their entirety over the course of the league will count. Models can be primed prior to the league and still count however.
  18. I am finally back from Mississippi and am available for Wednesday demos again. Come on down if you want to learn how to play, or are just looking for a friendly group of gamers.
  19. Well, I am finally back from my trip to Mississippi and am ready to get things rolling again. Our next even will be as follows: FORMAT: 50SS Fixed Faction Fixed Master (This is mostly to accommodate a couple of new players that have begun playing in the past couple weeks. Want to ease them into things first. That being said, I will allow people a one time switch to the Wave 4 master of their faction if they have arrived and are assembled by leagues end.) ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is completely voluntary and optional. If you chose to pay in, it will be $5. Choosing to pay the entrance fee earns you and extra ticket for the raffle (see prizes). If enough people do pay in, the prize pool can be expanded. LOCATION: Coliseum of Comics 2511 Old Vineland Road Kissimmee, FL. 34746 407-870-5322 DATES and TIMES: Week 1 November 9th Week 2 November 16th Week 3 November 23rd Week 4 November 30th *You may show up at anytime after 1PM, up until closing time, to get your games in.* SCORING: Players total score will be awarded points based on both mission and hobby points. Mission points will be earned from each of the 4 games you play. A win will be worth 3 points. A loss or draw will be worth 2 points. Hobby points will be earned via painting Malifaux models during the weeks of the league (already painted models do not count). Each model that you paint will award you points based on its size. 30mmbase models are worth 1pt 40mmbase models are worth 2pt 50mmbase models are worth 3pt PRIZES: At the end of the league, there will be a raffle to hand out prizes. The number of prizes given out will be determined by both the number of players, as well as those who chose to pay the optional buy in. Tickets for the raffle can be earned in three ways: Playing all four games. Paying the optional entrance fee. Having the highest total score at the end of the league. I hope to see you there. PS: We also run demos for those who know someone interested, or are interested themselves. Details can be found in this thread:
  20. Nightmare and 1E Teddy are going to be tough to find. If you can't find them here, Ebay would probably be your best choice. Miss Ery is actually pretty easy to find. She has shown up a few times since gencon 2 years ago and is also available as a Henchman prize. I have 3 myself, and wound up with 4 more for my gaming group via blind boxes. If you are still looking for her a month from now, keep an eye on the Black Friday sale. I am pretty sure Wyrd puts up some LEs on the webstore during that time.
  21. I think Yin is the overall better figure, at a lower point cost, and with better synergy with BM. On a side note, don't forget Fermented River Monks.
  22. I am visiting Gulfport Mississippi for the next few weeks (and possibly moving there in the future). Is there anyone nearby that plays Malifaux, or even Star Wars Armada? I have only found one lgs so far (Jaks), and they only seem to play Magic and 40K there.
