  1. The point of chi refers to the amount of models gaining the condition, not the condition itself, so no, you cannot.
  2. Hi there! As the topic makes clear, in my last game we hit a roadblock, when a Convict Gunslinger charged a Snow Storm. Our question is, whether bulletproof affects the attacks generated from the Gunslingers charge? Is it still a shooting attack, even though it is made in melee range? I tried searching for an answer, but couldn't find a similar thread. Thanks in advance!
  3. I often use a Nurse and a convict gunslinger as my core. The Nurse has some really nasty debuffs for the Sewn Fate targets. The Convict is just an allround solid piece and a great target for Obey. Models that I often take aswell: Mature nephilim (mobility and damage, it's fantastic). Papa Loco (The dmg potential is just awesome). Johan (Good beatstick with some much needed condition removal) Those are some of my favorite picks
  4. I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I found an error on the Collodi page. The author states, that you can use strumm the strings with an Illuminated to make them fast, but the update says puppets only. If this is the wrong place or if it gets fixed, then feel free to delete this post.
  5. Been playing Sonnia for a couple of years now, and I recommend getting the Latigo posse box and some cheap minions on the side. Or just buy whatever you think looks cool, as synergy isn't really needed in her crew. At all.
  6. I can't seem to find the relevant section on pg. 44 in regards to disengaging strikes. It just says, that whenever a model leaves an enemy's engagement range, then a disengaging strike is allowed. Walking past an enemy, into their engagement range, and then out again as a walk action (the only movement that prompts disengaging strikes), should allow the enemy model a disengaging strike. The models don't just phase out of existence and then reappears at their goal.
  7. You got to remember, that you dont have to deploy as close to the enemy team as possible. Deploying inside your own zone instead of the edge of it can mean that coppelius is a few inches shy of murdering the life out of Nicodem.
  8. The Peacekeeper is excellent at beating up stuff, just look uot for armor ignoring models, as he will go down fast then. Johan, Bishop or Francisco would be good alternatives.
  9. I'd recommend Nicodem as an allround master. I haven't really found a weakness in him yet in regards to a strategy. He can summon whatever he needs provided he has the cards/stones.
  10. Sorry about the test, congrats on the book Good luck with the community!
  11. I would play it as Lelu gets to heal a wound. That seems to me to be the intent behind the ability.
  12. Oh, did not see it said melee only My money is on the Viks then.
  13. I feel it's not worth it most of the time for 2ss.
  14. The rail worker is a good bet, and a Freikorps specialist too
  15. I would add some of the Ortegas, they are quite good
  16. Welcome to the hobby If you want Sidir you need to buy the MCCabe box (relic hunters), as he won't come as a stand alone release sadly. Hope you enjoy the game.
  17. She gets bonuses versus burning targets, so that's worth considering Kang is extremely good against undead and construct lists due to his aura. The Rail workers are fairly hardy and really hard hitting. Their (0) action really surprises my opponents, as they suddenly hit reliably with a good damage track. The emberling is alright, but he's usually the first man to get cut for me.
  18. Obey is (1) actions only, Alpha is a (2) Edit: Misread previous post, sorry. Ignore this.
  19. For support masters and crews with little to no healing I'd recommend Malifaux Child, as he can cast your masters support spells (own models can auto forfeit duels) and heal your key models in a tight spot. Besides that, as have been said, the Specialist is fantastic. i don't like Hans in a guild crew, as they can get the cheaper Nino.
  20. Yes it does, as it states all attack actions. (Lilith cannot for example).
  21. I would look at the Mei Feng box. Kang has a great aura and is a good beat stick. Same goes for the cheap rail workers, they can really deliver some damage.
