The amount is unfortunately no reflection on whether they 'bother'. The threshold that you start paying VAT is £15 and my friend recently got stung for an order that totalled £15.17. I have also been stung when I ordered two miniatures from SPM that totalled less than £20. Unfortunately it's completely random whether you will get stung or not. It doesn't feel so bad if you've made a big order but when it's a small order and they chuck on £8 handling fee it's a bitch!

Thank you very much for that guys. Very helpful again. I was under the impression that you could always take disengaging, not that they needed to be in range (thought it was just a big melee so once engaged range didn't matter). Nice to have it put right.

I thought engaged means engaged full stop? So either model can do a disengaging strike on the other if they attempt to move out of being engaged? So for example if Pandora (3" engagement range) and a Necropunk (1" engagement range) are 2" apart then Pandora can attack the Necropunk but the Necropunk can't attack Pandora without moving first. But if either want to leave the engagement then they would have to successfully defend a disengaging strike? If this is not correct can somebody point me in the right direction rules/FAQ wise please?

Yeah, seems strat/scheme are out of stock. Shame as I was looking forward to getting them. Hope the reprinting doesn't take forever like the M2E rulebook! I'm on holiday in middle of September, bet they get delivered then!

I've not even seen art for the non-TTB Hannah until I saw the box posted yesterday. My initial reaction was hate towards the regular one but it has warmed on me. Like Bengt I think I'll be adding some stuff in to make her look more secure in the suit. The TTB art looks like she is actually controlling the suit from inside whereas this look like it's controlled some other way and she can't decide whether she wants to stay along for the ride!

To clarify the Whisky Golem will be available to purchase at retail eventually. However, the Nightmare Edition Whisky Golem that is being offered over Gencon will only be available during Gencon as it is the once a year limited box they do. A regular Whisky Golem will be released at some point in the future.

It is addressed in the rulebook though. It specifically states that if you are at a particular distance then you are within a particular distance. If Fuhatsu pushes something in base to base 3" away then it should be exactly 3" away, no more no less. Therefore it is still within 3" as per the definition in the rulebook. Now our ability to measure exactly is difficult without precision engineered tools and so it ends up being a decision made by the people playing. But in the example of a 3" push from base to base then there can't logically be any other argument in my opinion.

Couldn't remember on Distract, thanks for the clarification Amdor. Delivering a message on 3" melee range Masters is fun, especially when a Necropunk has just come from what seemed like miles away!

No, you have to be within Ml range to attack so although you would be engaged you would still have to move then attack as you suggest. However, for things like Deliver a Message, Distract etc. you only have to be engaged, and not within your Ml range. So if something with a 3" range has engaged you and you only have a 1" Ml range you can still do those schemes (although Cursed specifically states 1" if memory serves me correct).

Bugger, just asked about strat/scheme deck in the Wyrd at Gencon thread. I was really hoping it was just a glitch in the system as I really want these.

I hated it at first but I have warmed to it. It's just so different from the TTB art that we've seen that it looks a bit weird when you first see it. As others have said she seems to be hanging out of the robot which is a little odd and I prefer the TTB one where she's holding the book in the robot arm. But I think there's potential there and I will be ordering it as I need her to complete out my big robot Freikorps group!

Hoping that the delivery problems iron themselves out but I have a couple of other questions: 1. Bete Noir, Bishop, Desperate Mercs and a couple of others are showing up under the Gencon release section of the webstore but they're also August releases. Does this mean they've been pushed back as regular releases or are they still coming out in August? Hans appeared on the Gencon announcement despite being an August release so I assume he's an October-January release as per the announcement but the other items that have been added weren't on the announcement so not sure of their status? 2. The strat/scheme deck has disappeared from the webstore (it was definitely there earlier). Is this just a glitch in the system or has it been removed because they've sold out (I know they honour all orders of models but the books sold out last year so does that mean cards could?)? 3. I've warmed to Hannah so guess my order just got $35 more expensive!

Yeah, I'd probably pay up for £50 for her but nothing more than that. She will come down in price on eBay too. But if I had the disposable income to drop $200 on one now I totally would.

Yeah, I was planning on holding out for any deals on her. At the moment I think I'm going to convert it, it doesn't look anything like the art I've seen for her (which I guess it the TTB art). How much are they going for?!

Personally I think the bit that I quoted from the rulebook above makes it quite clear. You have to push in a straight line but this line can be in any direction unless it's otherwise specified that it's in relation to an object.

Ah, I was thinking that the upgrade to Expunge and to turn poison kills into dogs were dual-faction too but they are his Resser only ones. Apologies! We all know Ressers are best though

McMourning can take all the stuff in the box if he goes Guild as well thanks to one of the upgrades so technically you don't need anything else for him!
