Yes! Everyone please vote for Outcasts to deprive Arcanists of their preview. We don't help/negotiate with terrorists. Here is a good business move for Wyrd: preview all the new masters over the next month then release the only the master models at Gencon while the hype is on. This will sure sell well and will force people to buy the same master model TWICE when Wyrd sells it next year with the crew box.

There won't be books dedicated to the three factions you mention. The core book was dedicated to Guild with a splash of Mercs, and 10T. There is one book for Neverborn, one for Avatar, and one for Earthside battles.

I know that Malifaux is not gonna be like a certain fantasy wargame where they killed off the entire cast, blew up the whole world and started anew. However, this does concern me. Earlier there was a discussion about masters rotating out as new ones moving in, in order to keep the balance. If they reveal the Book 4 master for Outcast to be Hannah, then I'll go punch a puppy.

SPOILERS from the Penny Dreadful Nythera book. Go away NOW before bad things happen to you!!!! So we know that Titania emerges from the aftermath of Nythera. However, as I was reading the book, there is a possibility that Von Schill dies and Hannah replaces him as the leader of the Freikorps. I wonder how such event will affect the storyline of Malifaux. Does it mean Von Schill may be "rotating out" as there are more masters incoming?

There are plenty of TT players out there, just that they are infiltrating the other factions so well that you don't see them. And they're so deep undercover that they don't even declare TT as their faction in games.

Strangely, Titania doesn't look undead nor fairy to me. She looks like a bloodier version of corrupted Avacyn from MtG. So I guess she outranks Lilith or something?

I understand that we're in the world where bad things happen, where the woods are filled with vicious nephilims, creepy swampfields, ghosts, and dolls, murderous children, (very attractive) zombie hookers, and all kinds of miscellaneous nightmarish monstrosities. But these grotesque blobs are way too much for me to handle. Didn't you see that they are all freaks of nature, especially the third one has a glowing butt?

I hope her associated minions won't end up being these grotesque blobs in here: It's suck for whichever master ends up with them.

Story Encounters from Brotherhood of the Rats: Infestation (1 player - 25SS Henchman led crew - rats and rat king as enemy models): The rats are swarming all over the area, and your safe house is in danger of being overrun! Grab whatever weapons you can and stop them before the vermin can get inside! Swarmed! (2 players - any SS size - rats are summoned from dead models can can form rat kings): The recent rainfall has flooded the sewers and swollen the rivers, forcing the rats out of their lairs and into the streets! What starts as a fairly typical battle soon becomes a fight to keep the hungry rats from running off with whatever fingers and toes are within their reach. The Piper's Call (3 players - 2 Attackers (each with set hires + 1 chosen henchman) vs 1 Defender (40SS crew)): You were able to stop up your ears with wax when the piping started, but the others weren’t so lucky. Now they’re marching to the Piper’s tune, leading a pack of hungry rats and enthralled rat catchers to deal with you once and for all. You’re surrounded on all sides...good luck!

So now that M2e is officially released and the green skins got their sub-forum, can we demand an update for the malifaux main website? We still need more info pages for the 10T and a whole new category for gremlins.

I think that the last arcanist master will be a sentient construct that functions as a highly durable tank, and has the ability to buff nearby constructs through aura. And for the pure 10T master, the most sensible choice is their oyabun, Misaki's dad.

It's sad that even though gremlin finally becomes an official faction, they won't have any starter box at gencon. That's a big discrimination against those little green thingies. With any luck, we may even have to wait until the beginning of 2014 for the first box to hit the market. Hopefully it will be Ophelia's

The upcoming M2E rulebook is gonna have all the stats for wave1 masters, so don't you think it's strange for wave 2 masters to not having their own book? Also, more book = more profits for Wyrd

So I just fixed a few things in the scenario. I hope this should be a fun experience for all Tara player. Comment and advice are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. On the upgrades, I thought u can take as many as you want. Will check back the rule for this. And the Nothing Beast isn't a minion, it's an enforcer so it can take on upgrades. I pick Niño just because I love him. Also, his range attack can be a good complement to Justice's melee oriented crew. Niño can be used to pick off Tara from distance. Just like in movie/real life, as you run from the spec ops, u need to watch out for their sniper Yeah, may be I'll look into giving Justice more upgrade and make the encounter entirely in LJ's favor. I'll also think off some crew specific scheme that's not from the book

Hello all, To celebrate the long-awaited preview for Nightmare Tara, I just made a story encounter scenario exclusively for her crew, using M2e rules. This encounter takes place right after the event of Dead of Winter when Tara and Karina escape from the void prison of Obliteration. The scenario pitches Tara starter box crew (with all the stat cards and upgrades from Wyrd Chronicles vol. 7) against Lady Justice starter box + Nino Ortega. Being surrounded on all sides by death marshals, Tara and Karina must break through the thick formation of their enemy in order to reach the vicinity of Malifaux city. On ther other hand, Lady J is bent on eradicate all undead from Malifaux. Could you please play-test and comment on this scenario? I try to balance the SS cost on both crew but since I'm neither professional game designer nor expert Malifaux player, issues are bounded to occur. I also select the scheme pool that makes the most sense and, hopefully, has no interference with the main strategy. Any comment and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you all. Edit: I came up with a new scheme for Tara where you can earn VP by burying models. I also changed the scheme pool where each crew has access to different schemes. Also, I adjusted the upgrades and made Lady J's crew completely outnumber Tara's. This should be a good challenge for Tara player, I hope Malifaux 2E - Tara Scenario.pdf

Why not indigo for the full rainbow? And now my questions: is it acceptable for a dual faction master to play against him/herself? Lets say the players declare guild vs ressers, can they both field McM? I don't know much of the new rule for dual faction, and so far I've never seen this issue. Next, will the current masters and avatars be re-sculpted in plastic? What will happen to the current metal models then? Will they still be legal in official games? Thanks

I can kinda see the reason why they include the doc into the guild rank. Guild tends to have fewer model count comparing to the other, so adding a summoner master is gonna take care of that. Then Lucius, ... Lucius is just a badass.

Lucius as a NB master, brilliant idea. Apparently, under that mask is a nephilim in disguise. This makes me wonder about the Governor. Is he real or just a puppet played by collodi and lucius. I just hope that when using Lucius, we can take off the mask whenever he's used as a NB master. Mask on for guild, mask off for NB. Then for the Doc, I'm hoping for an option to hire Seamus and Nico (a cuddled version of them of course) as his "associates."
