  1. Wow, very nice! The base and the whole feel it gives to a model is incredible! Just two small things: The dynamite is a bit to magenta... not really red. This could be due to the camera, though. And the rail tracks seem to bit a bit too brown, rusty imho. Keep up the good work!
  2. Nice, somehow they seem better defined than other plastics Ive seen...
  3. Nice color scheme and cool base How are you satisfied with the details of the raw model? Im not sure if maybe your paint is too thick, or its just the plastic... Any pictures of unpainted ones?
  4. I guess comparing to book 1 minions is pointless. So, then, I cant think that they are actually op, just that they are fresh and new. When I saw his abilities I was avoiding it in a large circle.
  5. Ok, to elaborate: Masters brush cleaner and restorer, works magic! Also, I feel that investing in a good brush is worth it... And your painting will improve just by improving your brush! I use raphaels and W&N, some are 6months old and hold their point perfectly. I do however use cheap synthetics for miscellanious stuff, and they deteriorate in the matter of days. Hope this helps!
  6. Nice, cant wait to see them painted! Santana! *drool* btw, what are the bases for witchlings?
  7. How do you play with the modeled flame pyres? Im asking bc, models can get inside of them...
  8. Interesting, you guys think hes in line? Ok, cool, Ill see a couple more games then Now that you say kang is better, cant wait facing HIM! Edit: umm, wait, its not him that has repost? It IS kang, ok, yeah... I was reffering to THAT guy! My appologies, dont have the book yet!
  9. I really dislike how the model looks, imho its just silly...not even funny. xD (cudos to the guy that made the conversion with bette noir cowboy, though!) And I also dislike his rules. I mean sirously? Really? Really?!? Hes stupidly good! This model is (in my opinion) a testiment of power creep. What do you guys think?
  10. Theyre great! Except I can see no rails...
  11. Like how you pulled off the sculpted punch effects, by that I mean misakis "swooosh" I always felt it was unecesary, but this looks pretty cool
  12. Wow, most impressive on the robes!
  13. Whoah I just realized (thanks to a friend) how green the lantern light looks on brutal effigy! That is a very interesting effect, bc there is no trace of green on the miniature itself!
  14. Its slightly darker shade than the pic, but generally you are right, the color is a bit off. Shouldve gone a bit more creamy than yellow. White undercoat -> yellow ink -> sepia(brown) ink and yellow mix for shading and play with that. It was a repetitive task to get it looking good. Im not 100% satisfied with it, it was more of an experiment. ps. anybody noticed a student is in a dragon ball Z color scheme?
  15. Just keep practicing! And try to make colored nmm, its much easier for begining! Good luck!
  16. Hi guys, Finally I got some of my miniatures photographed! YAY! Without further ado:
  17. I use a regular "guild-sanctioned" fate deck. I put the cards in the sleeves, so they are easily shuffled. I tried the retro deck, I LOVE the look of it. But the feel...ugh, the cards are SO slippery, I gave up on it.
  18. This is not an excuse. I personally am putting off playing The Dreamer, because of this. Learning to play him and having outdated cards is not fun at all. Especially for a master like this. Lets hope they update it sooner rather than later.
  19. Absolutely beautiful bases and paintjobs! Can you please share the technique for creating icicles?
  20. Wow! This is great! Absolute genious of the idea! Great great great!
  21. Very impressive collection! Great job!
  22. Im not TOO keen on brutal effigies healing. You can do it once, and its a pretty high card requirement... Also, melee expert on such a slow model is not THAT great. Didnt try the other effigies.
  23. What are the base inserts on the yamaziko and the archer?
